I haven’t washed it yet, but a gentle cold cycle/or hand and dry flat is pretty standard for knits. Extremely happy because of the softness, quality, and price. Nice sweater! Burgundy color is rich, construction is great - very well made and attractively finished. I have not laundered it yet. Know that it runs small - I am 5'4", 112 pounds, 34C, and the size small fits a bit skimpy. Next time I would order a Medium. For the price, go for it!!

This is a very nice sweater. I prefer cotton clothing for its comfort, fit, and durability. I purchased the lime green sweater which is not too bright but a fun color. I am tall and found the sweater’s sleeve length quite acceptable. The sweater is not tunic length, which is my preference, but I thought I would give it a try. The sweater was washed in cool water, put in the dryer on low for a few minutes, then hung to dry. I’ve not noticed any remarkable shrinking. ... show more

I loooove these sweaters! I love them so much that I got 3 in different colors. It wears and washes very well, %100 cotton is a rare find these days, everything is polluted with polyester plastics. colors are vibrant and don’t fade after many washes. Another thing I like is that it is not wide, looks great and not baggy. It also doesn’t shrink much and stretches back to its original size. Love how these sweaters feel on the skin. Runs pretty small and is shorter (from neck to bottom hem) that described/pictured, so I'm very afraid to wash it, but the quality is good and the style/color is great!

i purchased the light blue in a small, and love it. the color is exactly as pictured, and it is soft and seems well-made. i really like the color and hope it comes back in stock. i washed it before wearing (cold/delicate), and dried it on delicate (air drying would have taken days i think.) did not shrink at all, and did not lose any color. really happy with this sweater - i like the length, and it's a great thickness and warm. it's not going to be as soft as cashmere, but it's definitely soft and comfortable. i think the neckline and details are attractive. i was debating between this and splurging for a cashmere sweater, but i'm glad i got this because it's so much easier to care for, and great quality for the price! i usually wear a small and this fits well, not tight at all - so i don't think you need to necessarily size up. do note though that it does wrinkle, as it's pure cotton. ... show more

I needed a basic black cotton sweater for the transitional weather. This sweater is perfect. Very good quality, thick sweater. I appreciate the value, 100% cotton for $20. I have 2 colors, sized up this time. It is long and runs narrow, so may not be best for all bodies.
