The watch itself is great: Truly unisex, clean, minimal design, clearly marked minute track outside the numbers, no text or date complication to muck up the lovely green dial, and the orange second hand gives it a splash of panache. Though I prefer a watch with a case size in the 38mm to 42mm range, I'll put this little gem into my rotation as soon as I resolve its one and only flaw: The strap. Though the strap isn't cheap or chintzy, it is simply too thick for a watch of such diminutive size. It gives the watch an awkward, uncomfortable fit and does not allow the watch to lie flat on my wrist. Furthermore, unlike virtually every other wristwatch I've reviewed on Vine, the strap does not have quick-release spring bars. This makes it difficult to remove and replace the strap, especially with the watch's small 'old style' lugs. High horology is trending toward smaller dials again, so Amazon could have a real winner on their hands if they'll ditch the thick silicone and pair this with a proper leather strap. As for me, I intend to find a suitable sailcloth or canvas replacement and update my review with the results. ... show more

I thought this was a black and white watch when I chose it. It's not black but more of a hunter green. When I put it on I found it was too large for my wrist. It has a thick band that didn't want to even buckle down flat. You can see how loose it is on my wrist. It also has a scuff mark on the band that won't wipe off. I do like the easy to read face and the fact if has a economy hand. Like the idea of an old time watch face not digital. Nice look if you don't have thin wrists. ... show more

If you need a simple watch with large digit face for nursing or similar, this is a great watch. Not only is the watch well made it looks stellar on the wrist. It isn't a watch for large wrists, so this will lean more to the feminine side of things. For me the watch looks like a mole on my wrist, but looks great on my sons and wife's wrists. The silicone strap is super thick and we changed it out for a thinner silicone. I mean it is really thick. For the price and quality we love this watch. ... show more
