I've been wearing the Hanes brand of tanks/A-shirts for the past decade+, but recent quality has deteriorated (thinner, shorter, etc). I decided to try these based on reviews. I'm glad I did! They seem to be a better quality than the Hanes, made with a softer cotton, are longer so they stay tucked in, the bottom edges don't curl up, and the straps stay flat on my shoulders better. My only complaint is that I seem to have received a "returned" package that had no branding/label/sizing on it (see pic). They looked unused so I decided to just keep them and threw them in the wash. When I was putting them away, I noticed that one of them was defective, where one strap was significantly shorter than the other (see pic). So I knocked off half a star for each issue. These tank tops are soft and comfortable. They stay tucked in all day, which is a big plus in an undershirt. The price is phenomenal, at $14 for six tank tops, it can't be beat. Unfortunately, I couldn't give this product 5 stars. There seems to be a quality control issue. Second time purchasing since they were so nice. My husband is 6' 2", they were a good length on him and added a couple extra inches. So if you are taller than 6' 2" you are in the clear. He is 220lb, athletic (weight lifter) wears a 38" pant, chest is about 44" I got him the XL. They shrink a little so when washed they fit him perfectly with some room for moving around. Got all of the colors. Can't go wrong with the black and grey because they don't get dingy like white. ... show more

These are really excellent undershirts. I have a tall torso and my biggest complaint with most undershirts is they are too short. These are plenty long enough to tuck in and stay tucked.

I'll admit, it was strange at first to wear a garment that had an "amazon essentials" label. They weren't typically a brand I thought of when it came to clothing. However, I will from now on. I purchased these undershirts because they were cheaper than the name brands. I was surprised to find that they were higher quality than the undershirts I had previously purchased from Hanes and Fruit of the Loom. They fit well, and the material is very comfortable. I am so surprised by some of the other reviews. Beside the white versions, these have become my favorite tank tops. I was skeptical about the sizing, considering it is made of 100% cotton, so I immediately washed them. I wear my tank tops so they hug my body and these fit perfectly and I suspect would stretch a little more and remain comfortable. They are extremely soft to the touch which was a plus. ... show more

These Amazon Essentials shirts are an excellent value. I actually received one in a free trial, and returned to purchase more based on that experience. Fabric is softer & more comfortable than my (previous) favorite brand, and are of overall better quality & craftsmanship. It has remained durable and soft for many months. The cut & sizing are just right... with little to no shrinkage after numerous washings. I found my shirt size (2XL) was a touch shorter than I'd like after washing, but that's my only (very) minor complaint. I'm very pleased, and feel this shirt is an above-average value on a fine product. I'll be back for more. ... show more
