The one functional drawback to consider is that the lightweight, technical stretch material is quite thin, which makes the pants feel more like specialized athletic gear than traditional heavy-duty chinos. I’ve been wearing these pants daily for over a year, and they’re still going strong. I’ve even bought multiples of two in the same color because they fit so well and look fantastic. Honestly, they look far more expensive than they are - I compare these to other brands I own such as Charles Tyrwhitt or SuitSupply, and honestly, you'd never be able to tell these are a quarter of the price.. -Fit and Comfort- The slim-fit design is nice and modern without being too tight, and the stretch material (it's not too stretchy, don't worry!) makes them super comfortable for all-day wear. -Durability- After a year of consistent wear, these pants have held up impressively. No fading, no loose seams, and they still look like new. For the price, the durability is amazing. -Value- You really can’t beat the price for the quality. 6/12/2026 - I have purchased five pairs of these Amazon men’s slim fit all day stretch golf pants and every pair has fit perfectly. The fabric is comfortable, holds shape, resist wrinkles after laundering, and looks great. What amazes me most is the price. At $28 per pair, these pants are an exceptional value. 20 years ago, I would have expected to pay at least $40 in then current dollars for pants of comfortable quality and appearance as these. In fact, these pants have largely replaced my jeans. They are remarkably versatile. I can wear them with a T-shirt or casual shirt and sneakers for everyday activities or dress them up with a white shirt, tie, blazer, and leather dress shoes for a Court appearance. Finding clothing that is both comfortable and adaptable is rare. All Amazon Essentials clothing which I have bought is outstanding. These pants merit 5 stars, but I gave them four stars, because people are more likely to read a four-star review than a five-star review. ... show more

Exceptional value! The men in my family love these pants for many reasons. First of all, you can pull them out of the dryer and put them on with no need to iron. Second, they fit great and the sizes are true to size. When they first come out of the dryer, they are a tiny bit more snug, but have stretch to them keeping them fitting well. Thirdly, they have the look of exspensive pants at a very reasonable price. My husband has bought pants at three times the price and likes these just as well. Added note,- be aware that each time we order these, they are extremely wrinkled on arrival. They need to be initially ironed before wearing but this is not the case when they come out of the dryer. Even though they need to be ironed when they come out of the package, they come out of the dryer ready to wear. ... show more

The pants aren't bad. I think the important thing to note is that the size is very true to expected, of which I was very appreciative. I ended up ordering two different sizes and going with the slightly larger size, because I didn't need them to be quite as snug (I often will buy 31 waist when available, because 32s are often just slightly loose but 30s are snugger than I prefer. Given that these are fairly slim fit, the 32s fit better. Also, the 32s were available in 33 length, which is perfect for me. Overall, the best thing about these pants are the larger number of sizes than many brands that you could buy, which allow you to really nail a good fit. It's worth ordering two pairs and keeping just what fits best (try before you buy is a great option here). Side note: Amazon could do a better job of checking the returns, it seems. This pair arrived with a chapstick and pen in the pocket. Worse still, the pen had leaked and put a stain on the pants. Even if they had fit perfectly, I would have returned them for a different pair. ... show more

I grabbed a pair of the Amazon Essentials Slim Fit Pants recently, and I’ve got to say, they’ve quickly become a go-to in my wardrobe. Right out of the package, they felt soft but sturdy. I’m a guy who struggles to find pants that hug the thighs without squeezing the life out of me, and these nail that slim-fit sweet spot—tapered but comfy, no awkward bagginess or tightness. I got the khaki ones to among a couple other colors, and they look sharp enough for a casual office day or pairing with a polo for drinks with friends. After a few washes, they’re holding up great—no fading, no weird stretching. The stretch fabric gives just enough flex to move around without feeling restricted, and the five-pocket style keeps it practical. For the price, I honestly didn’t expect this level of quality. When you need that extra stretch after pounding a 3/4lb burger and a large fry then these are perfect. Not sure how these get any positive reviews. Ordered my waist which I wear literally in every other size pant and shorts and it was already snug. Ordered 28 length and you would’ve thought I ordered 32. They were super baggy and also for these being advertised as stretching golf pants they are honestly closer to just the generic Chino pants that don’t have any stretch whatsoever. If you’re looking for something lightweight to wear while golfing or if you just live in a hot climate like me don’t bother wasting your money or time ordering these ... show more

My go to was Haggar 4 way stretch dress pant ultra slim 34x29. These pants exceeded my expectations. I am 5'9 and 170lb. I ordered 34x28 because I do not like it draping over my shoe. It came right to my ankle. Right above the subtalar joint. I love the feel and tapered look from the waist down. The stretchy waist is a must and game changer.
