REALLY nice shirt for the money. So for the sizing, I am 5'9" and 160 lbs. I got the large and it was a little big but after a wash and dry on MEDIUM heat, it fits me like a glove. I will probably be buying one more. My only initial concern was the size because I am small, (43" chest and 32 " waist) but in good shape with wide shoulders. I think the sizing is the hardest. Recently, I purchased two of these all-cotton flannel shirts and, after, delivery and inspecting them, bought two more. They are of remarkable quality, well-fashioned button holes, cross-stitched buttons, and what appear to be French seams, closely stitched, over the shoulders. The placket is well sewn as well. My only other comment (not necessarily a negative) is that the collars might have had a little more depth. I tried them on, they were properly sized (XL) and there was minimal shrinkage when laundered. The fabric, while not "heavy," is substantial and had the same thick feel after washing/drying, At their price, these Amazon Essentials shirts are a bargain. ... show more

Nice material. I’d say they’re an athletic fit. If you don’t have a trim waist, order up Shoulders, sleeves, chest fit good. Waist a bit tight.

Soft cotton flannel shirt, seems well made, and a great color combination. There was something off about the collar though. It didn’t stand up tall enough, and the arm length was a little too short for me. I returned it and received a prompt refund.
