Classic 4 star Cotton Cardigan at a 5 Star Price

This is a decent quality lighweight casual cotton cardigan. It compares with lots of Asian made labels at less than half the price. For $20, I am 5-star happy. 2xl in Blue measures 52" in the chest and falls to the top of my thighs. The cotton knit is a little stretchy and can be clingy with some fabrics under it, so size up if you want a relaxed drape. Cons - Like I said above, the fit can feel more snug than it is. The cotton thread is not the highest quality. Its a little scratchy and clingy. You are not getting premium quality silky fibers in a $20 cardigan. A problem for me that may not present for people with smaller chest measurements (I have a 50" chest that used to be way bigger, lots of skin I want to cover well), is that the top button pulls and causes the left lapel to warp a little and not lay flat. I have to do some adjusting and stretching of the fabric to fix this. Luckily the garment resists losing it's shape. I may be able to remedy this with a button replacement. Pros - This is a warm, well made, nice looking, cotton cardigan that other labels would sell for at least twice the price. The knit and ribbing are well done, no snags or flaws. The tight knit and dense thread should hold its shape well even if laundered regularly. Just don't use heat if you don't want the ribbing warping. The look of this cardigan is classic, think old LL Bean with modern buttons. The buttons are a nice smoky pearlized grey-blue. And the blue color is easy to match with a versatile palette. It can do business casual, Sunday stroll, or lounge casual. And you can layer it under a blazer or coat in cold weather for a classier look. Overall, I'm happy with this cardigan. I'm going to sew some suede or corduroy elbow patches on and have a 10 year garment I can wear regularly and comfortably without a worry.

Love these! A closet staple!

I'm 5'4 and about 160lbs, and the medium fits me perfectly with a little wiggle room for a shirt underneath. I like my sweaters slightly oversized. This is a very comfortable sweater. I have a few of them for work, and I wear them every day. The pockets don't lose their shape at all and I put these in the dryer. They wash and dry really well. So far over the years I haven't lost any buttons either. They are very well made. I buy one a year or so now, just to keep my closet fresh.

Good cardigan, good luck getting real sizes

I bought Large as I wanted to go for an oversized look, I’m 6’0 155, but it fits like a slim fit. It doesn’t look bad, it’s a good car digan, the hem is tidy, the stitches aren’t loose. The he color is just like the image and it has a good weight to it. I’ll report back in a couple of months for pilling. Conclusion, it’s a cheaper alternative to other cardigans, if you need/want one get this alternative

I’m really impressed with this Amazon Essentials men’s cotton cardigan sweater. The material is soft, breathable, and comfortable without feeling too thin or flimsy. It fits true to size and layers perfectly over a t-shirt or button-down, making it great for both casual and slightly dressier looks. The stitching and buttons feel solid, and it holds its shape well after washing. For the price, the quality is outstanding — it looks much more expensive than it is. This has quickly become a go-to piece in my wardrobe, and I’d definitely buy it again in another color. Highly recommended!

You'll Love It While It Lasts, Which May Not Be Long.

I really liked this alot when I first received it. Lands on the eyes well right out of the package and has a classy look and a very soft feel. The texture is nice and the weave is tight. The weight is slightly heavy, which is what I wanted. The sizing was fine. The price was good at less than $30. I ordered black. Then I began wearing it... I wear it probably 3 days a week in the office at my desk. I'm cold natured so I stay in it all day rather than taking it off and putting it back on. I got several compliments on it initially. As I said, visually it has a very classy look. When I'm not wearing it it stays folded, not on a hanger. The big downside is the weave is loosening quickly with gentle, casual wearing in the office. There is significant sagging now in both the body and the arms at only 6 weeks old. It does tend to attract lint, so I washed it once with a gentle cycle, even though it is 100% cotton. Dried it with regular heat. I thought this might help both the lint issue and might firm up the material to the way it was. Not so. At this point, it looks about 6 months old and heavily worn with wrinkles on the arms that can't be pressed out of it. I still wear it, but I'm certain I won't get but a few months of life out of it. Manufacturers have gotten really good at making things appear to be a higher level of quality to the eye than they really are. Disappointed overall, but not out much money.
