I really like these Amazon Essentials in the 5-inch inseam. Living in the desert, practically wear shorts year-round. I have them in 5 colors, but they have over 20 colors in an Oxford cloth or the Chino.

Hard on shorts and figured a year or two of wear would be worth the cost. They fit nice, color is as advertised, and seem to be holding up fine. After next year but a few more and these will be broken in and worn well for super casual outings - hard to argue with that for $18 or so!

These are pretty good shorts. Minus one star because the stitching on the button does not instill much confidence. I feel like I will be sewing it back on after a future embarrassing day.
