Won’t activate. This whole batch is locked to unknown carrier, not Cricket

Update: The replacement is dead 5 minutes after logging into my AppleID. It turns into a complete black screen and won't power on. Connect to a computer makes it boot into recovery mode with screen turned off. System recovery fails all the time. Looks like a hardware issue. Returning both the replacement and the original order. A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. 1. The description page says Apple iPhone 12 (64GB, Green) [Locked] + Carrier Subscription, with carrier being Cricket. WRONG!! Inserting a cricket sim card shows SIM not supported. Upon checking with Cricket, they confirm it is not locked by them. 2. Apple support claims it is locked by Xfinity Mobile, not cricket. 3. Xfinity Mobile checks the phone and says it is NOT compatible with their network. This is total BS. Amazon is selling iPhones locked to an unknown carrier. Contacted with Amazon product support to order a replacement. EXACTLY THE SAME! Locked to some random carrier is unknown. YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO USE THIS IPHONE!

iPhone 12 is by far the most user-friendly smartphone that I have owned! From a sleek ergonomic design to high-end features and functionality, 12 offers a great user experience. Some of those features include: Siri (the voice command utility), Safari (Apple’s search engine), Apple Pay (electronic wallet pays system), and FaceTime (video-conferencing App). Great Upgrade
I upgraded to this phone and am really pleased! I purchase a screen protector and a case for it for which I am pleased. I even bought a belt holster which helps. I didn’t want to put the phone in my pocket. The battery life is very good and the camera is much better on this phone! I do plan to keep this phone for some time! I was not interested in the air buds as they don’t fit my ears that well and I have other buds I liked much better. The quick recharge cord is super! This phone is a little smaller than the iphone 12 pro but that is fine! I would buy this again!
