Just perfect for what I was looking for, half carat is perfect for me I do not like gaudy jewelry and any bigger would look fake! I saw complaints about the chain but I love it, it’s a thin box chain which is what I prefer with diamond (or anything that sparkles) pendants. I also didn’t find the clasp hard to close. Most of my necklaces are 16 inches so it’s easy to layer also. I also teach kids and have a 3 year old, all of which have yanked on this chain this week to look at it and it’s stood the test of the kids!!! Dainty but a statement and noticeable, I don’t see how anyone could complain about this piece! It comes in pretty much as I expected. It shines well, is of decent size for what I was looking for. I was unaware that it came with a necklace as well, so that was a bonus. However, the first necklace that came was broken. A quick chat with an Amazon rep and she had me a new one the next day with a RS label. Overall, the wife seems to like it and it was just what she was looking for. I haven't had the heart to tell her it's not a real diamond. Oh well, I'll let her keep assuming... ... show more

The stone itself is firery and beautiful. The chain that came with it was thin and broke the first month I had it- so replaced that with a better one. But the stone is perfect and looks so real! Very nice piece - just plan on putting it on a different chain.
