The first chew we bought was great and lasted for more than five months. The second chew was so fragile and brittle that my dog ate almost the entire thing in two days—which is annoying, but what I didn’t realize was as he chewed it, it was splintering into sharp fragments in his mouth. (I was with him while he was chewing but it looked and sounded normal.) He was up vomiting last night and threw up a pile of sharp antler shards, which is obviously extremely dangerous—now we’re waiting to find out if he’s sustained internal injuries from the shards. No natural antler should behave this way, so I have to assume this one was baked or very old or otherwise unfit for sale. Very scary, not a safe product. ... show more

My dog absolutely loved this antler. It Is helped him so much with his teething and did not break into little pieces. He has had it for almost a year and nothing has chipped off or broke. Is it also helps clean his teeth! Thank you!!!

Our pup, a 54lb golden doodle, was able to start breaking chips off of the antler that we received within an hour of getting it. She has had several deer and elk antlers and this hasn’t happened. Everything else about the transaction was good, just be careful if your dog is a heavy chewer.
