Nice chairs, I ordered two. Good packaging, no assembly. The color is more of a saddle brown than a cognac, more orange than the brown shade pictured. I like it better. The leather seems a bit dry, I’m going to try to condition it. The cushions are a bit stiff, but they should soften with use. My only complaint is that they’re now $100 cheaper than when I bought them… maybe I should have waited? Anyway, I would definitely recommend, they are solid chairs at a great price. ... show more

I was optimistic because the other Rivet midcentury leather chairs got such great reviews. The cognac has been sold out for months so took a chance on these. They look good from afar but there are quality issues. The frame is more substantial than it looked in the photo so I was happy about that. I ordered 2 chairs and one had several imperfections in the frame including one at the tip of both arms so impossible to ignore them. There was also splintering around the brass caps where the brass meets the wood. The other one’s frame was in much better condition but the leather had some weird puckering and several areas had almost like a rubbed look on it as if someone had tried to get out a stain or some thing. Very glad I ordered at the lower price but even for that not sure if they are worth it. If they were still in stock I would order a third to see the quality but they’re sold out so I guess it’s either keep as is or return both. I’m leaning towards the latter. ... show more

Top quality, fantastic leather, attention to detail, and in Cognac, simply beautiful. You can pay twice as much for the same quality. I can see why they sell out so fast. Rivet isn't cheap Chinese furniture. They are superior quality products.
