I bought a container of the unscented and a container of the scented. I like both to choose from. I use unscented when I am washing cleaning rags- I clean homes, so I dont want anything with fragrance. I also prefer unscented for my bedding (synethic fragrance keeps me awake). I sometimes like using essential oils (rather than a synthetic aroma) to add a fragrance of preference, so the scent free options are needed for that. Then I use the scented laundry detergents when I dont really have a preference. I tend to prefer liquid or laundry sheets, but these pods are really easy. No measuring, no hassle. I just use one no matter the size of load. Keeps me from adding too much. Seems to work fine. I tend to purchase based on price as I dont have a particular brand that I am loyal to. I do tend to like Amazon brands, so it wasn't a tough decision to just go ahead and try this Presto brand. I'd consider it again. Clothes smell clean, look good whether I use the unscented or the scented. Zero irritations. No complaints from anyone else in household. ... show more

Tried these because of the great price. Smell is good, but need to use more than one for a really great clean, which makes it not much more affordable over the other brands. Good stuff, but a higher concentration of soap would be so much better.

In our house we are allergic to many name brands to include Tide, All, Cheer, Gain, Ivory Flakes, and a whole bunch of others. We finally tried Presto free and clear and we are all good with it! (We all weren't allergic to the same laundry soaps.) What one could use others could not. We couldn't figure out why the rashes and itching all over until we found out allergy issues with one of us. Then it went from there. We are allergic to so many brands. (We found out we also have dishwasher soap allergies as well. We are a fun bunch!)     • Good value, scent free version may help with allergens for some.
We have a household of sensitive skin and occasional eczema breakouts, so we are careful to use products not to upset the skin, especially for our toddlers. The scent free pods have a typical soap smell but not any related to chemically added scents, floral or otherwise. They wash away clean when used in your washer’s soap tray. I do not recommend dropping them directly into the washer as the outside wrapping may not completely dissolve but this goes for any laundry soap pods. i have skin sensitivities, so i switched to this from all free clear to give it a shot. i don't regret it & will continue to use this as long as it's made. it feels cleaner than all used to leave my clothing & stains seem to come out easier. I don't know how well these compare to Tide pods, but the "unscented" pods have an unpleasant scent. I expect unscented to truly be without any smell. I will not be purchasing them again.
