Apparently we cant even make pumpkin seeds in the USA! These are made in China and I try my best to avoid any food products made there. Also I find these to have a repulsive bitter taste unlike other brands I buy at the supermarket. Unfortunately I will not be eating these and wasted my money. If you are paying extra bucks for organic, and the product turns out to be from China, makes me very disappointed. Simply because this may or may not be organic, since China has very different regulations. At this point, the USDA Organic approval doesn't even make sense anymore. These are USDA Organic. Not sure why people are complaining about them being from China, or "China Organic," etc. If you want something cheap, great-tasting, and USDA certified Organic then these are the ones to buy. If you are particular about where ANY PRODUCT is made or comes from, then do your research first rather than buying it and then later complaining about where it comes from. Let's be objective and realistic, and make the extra effort to determine where something is manufactured if that is a key criterion. FOOD made in CHINA is something I don't trust due to lack of verified inspections and regulations. If I had know this was produced in CHINA, I would not have purchased. Refuse to consume due to above. Amazon does not allow this product to be returned nor do they provide a refund.

I bought thinking because these were USDA Organic that the were sourced for a US farm. Not so. Country of origin is China. Not sure about any of you, but I don’t trust food grown in China. Such false advertising.

On October 5, 2019, I purchased Pumpkin Seeds, 4 pounds. Seeds are very old, not fresh, flavorless and most of them are discolored (see photo “Pumpkin Seeds 3”, attached). I am wondering because of the way the expiration date is put on the package. It is very suspicious. It is printed on a sticker (see photo Pumpkin Seeds 1” attached). There is no sticker on package of sunflower seeds (I purchased the same day). Expiration date was printed on package (see photo “Sunflower Seeds” attached). Packages are similar. I purchased pumpkin seeds few months ago at another store and the expiration date was printed on package. There was no sticker (see photo “Pumpkin Seeds 2”, attached).
