Just received this and it looks good and feels solid. The battery pack is big and at 4 Amp Hrs should provide plant of use time. Blade attached easily with built in hex key (I saw 2 negative reviews on attaching the blade - it's a reverse thread!). Useful for a few quick cuts without having to haul out a power cord. This was a black Friday purchase for less than $50. You will be satisfied with your purchase if you wait for a sale of anything 90 or less, but in my opinion you will have buyers remorse at normal price near $115+. This is truly a light duty saw that needs to be gently handled. You can not just kick it around like other corded/cordless saws because its made completely out of hard plastic. This means gently setting it down and storing carefully. It lacks power, but will cut fine if you understand its limitations. This is a smaller blade at 6 1/2 compared to a standard 7 1/4 blade. 2x4s and plywood cut okay when you allow it to fully speedup. Let it ramp up a second or 2 then cut otherwise you will have a rough cut that splinters/blows out at the end. For a successful clean cut you need to support both sides of wood with a stand for any overhang on your table greater than 12". - There is not enough power/speed for it to handle the wood when it starts to pinch at the end from gravity. For plunge cuts, let it get to top speed first then plunge. This will give you a clean cut and allow you to continue your cutting motion. - If not full speed it will stop and get stuck Changing blades and cutting degrees is easy. The saw dust actually piles up in a neat pile next to your cut on a 2x4. Not sure if it is intended or lacks the power to fling dust everywhere, but this was a pleasant surprise. I would use this saw for quick and small DIY projects. I would consider using this on a small project like a smaller 8'x8' shed. I do not believe this would be good at cutting multiple pressure treated boards, but might be fine for a one off. Stick to non PT 2x4's and plywood 3/4" or less. I used this to build a new door for my crawl space. The door was made out of 2x4's and 3/4th plywood. It cuts angles and straight cuts fine assuming you give it a second to ramp up. If you try to cut right away like more durable saws then you will be disappointed. I laid a few 2x4's out on a table and marked my cut lines of 24-36". When I started to cut with 24"+ sticking over the side I was left with long splinters and an unclean edge. When I supported both sides with a chair the cuts came out clean... this is not something you need to do with sturdier saws. *I have provided a picture of a blowout cut on unsupported 2x4's and my corded skilsaw 7 1/4' for size and feature comparison

This is a very good saw and an excellent value. 6 1/2 inch blade cuts most lumber and plywood used in residential projects. It's light and has an extra capacity battery. The LED light is helpful for following a line but a laser would be better. Otherwise, this is a steal!

Light weight, compared to my older Skil corded saws. Very accurate line of sight cutout mark on base plate. I used this saw to rip/trim cut my redwood deck to increase boards spacing; each cut was 24'L, removing 3/16"w X 1.5"DOC___12cuts, full length, required 2-- 4Ah Denali battery's--without stopping! I increased the spacing between the deck boards, from 1/8" to about 1/2" so that oak leaf tree debrie would not collect between the deck boards, and cause dry/wet rot. The saw is still running strong, and never stopped or bogged down while in use. Each 4Ah battery required about an hour to recharge. It still looks brand new, and I expect this saw will last a very long time for this home owner.
