For years I have used 5 lb dumbbells with plates on a bar, it’s ok but they are tough to navigate when doing certain exercises. These feel very easy to navigate for a great workout. These size is perfect. I am going to get some 3 lb weights for after my upcoming surgery.

They are good enough. These 5 lb weights do get slippery when you sweat because they are totally smooth and shiny. They were a good price and have worked fine so far. No odor, they are weighed accurately, average size that is not too bulky. I started with 3 lbs and needed a bit more to continue with strength training.
