Update 6.17.24 I've been using this mattress for about a year now and sleeping really well on it. I think changing mattresses made it a week-long transition, but it is so comfortable and so much cooler than a total memory foam mattress. I gave it one more star, although I hesitated because it is so heavy that getting corners up to change sheets can take a bit of work. I will probably replace the mattress in my guest room with this same mattress. This mattress is very comfortable to lie on. It's a little tall with my bedframe and box springs to sit on, but I am short. The edge supports me just fine, but I am 5'1 and 120lbs. There has been absolutely no odor to this mattress, from the beginning. I had prepared to leave the bedroom French doors to the outside open for a few days and sleep in the guest room, but I could have slept on it the first night. I didn't because I was too lazy to make it. I find this mattress firm, and certainly more firm than my two year old memory foam mattress. However, despite the comfort and firmness, I am having trouble, even a week later, sleeping through the night. Since I am normally a heavy sleeper, I wonder if it is just changing mattresses???? The mattress was fully expanded (I measured) within an hour. I was not prepared for how quickly it would expand, and at 94lbs (according to the box), I would have waited for my husband to get home had I known how difficult managing the size and weight would be. This is not a criticism at all, just a warning that with both the bulk and the weight, it became unmanageable for me. I should have thought it out better. I feel like the quality of the mattress is quite good, especially quality for the price. I like the hybrid better than the memory foam I bought two years ago. I feel much cooler in this bed. 6 month update below my original review. I received this bed 7 days ago today, and I slept on it the first night. The first night, it felt pretty great. Firm but the top half inch maybe, is soft, so there's a bit of give. 7 days later, the firmness has definitely fully settled and let me tell you, the support is just amazing! I was having so much upper back pain and some lower back pain, but I have been waking up virtually pain free. There's some tension in my back because I'm still adjusting to something more firm, but it's not pain! The great thing about this matress is that my partner is 6'5" and I'm 5'0", so we have pretty different needs, but since the top on this matress has a bit of cushion, it's not leaving me with pressure point pain in the shoulder or hip like I was worried about. I tend to sleep on all sides (back, stomach, sides lol) and so far I've slept comfortably every night. As for my partner, he says the matress is also very comfortable and has not been experiencing any pain. Neither one of us have anything negative to say about it. So, that's pretty good I'd say! Hopefully this matress will last a while and not cave in! I'll update this review in another 6 months or so. The more info the better, eh? Update: so the matress is not quite as firm as I originally thought. Maybe just loosened up a bit after some time. It's not bad for me, I enjoy this matress still. My partner does wish it was a little more firm so he wouldn't sink in as much. Neither one of us wakes up with pain, so that's saying something! I mean, besides the normal getting old pains lol overall, I'd say that this is a pretty great matress for the price. Much better than my 2500 matress I had before this one! 😅 ... show more

I've been on this mattress for a month now and have no complaints. I was concerned that it may not be very good due to the price point but I've been pleasantly surprised. Both myself and the lady have been sleeping great and waking up with no pain. I will note that I don't consider it a "firm" mattress like it is listed as, more of a medium firm. I think it is due to sinking into the memory foam but there is plenty of support from the springs. I will update this review at the 6 month mark, 1 year, 2 year, or whenever it turns to crap so others can know what to expect from this. 6 months: Bed is still doing great, no issues 2 years: Still going strong. We are probably starting to get some divots in the bed where we each sleep but its not really noticeable. The support is holding up. No complaints. Just make sure to rotate it regularly ... show more
