Thought me and the boys would buy a blender for deployment and it was super finicky to get it to turn on right out the box. Blended for maybe 15 seconds then started to roll smoke from the motor and burnt out. Nice thick glass for the cup part tho. Threw the blender out but kept the mixer portion

I had a very good experience with this Amazon Basics blender, and I wanted to share something important for anyone buying it. At first, I thought the blender had a problem because it would not start. I contacted support and also checked the manual, and then I realized the issue was simple: the blender has to be twisted and locked properly before it will turn on. This is actually a great safety feature, especially if you have kids at home. It helps prevent the blender from starting if it is not correctly placed. Before contacting support or thinking the blender is defective, make sure the jar is properly locked in position. Once I did that, it worked perfectly. Overall, I fully recommend it. I purchased this blender on July 19, 2026 and received it on July 20, 2026. I only use it for making smoothies. I have only made three (3) smoothies since I purchased this item and today, August 2, 2026, the motor went out. The only thing I put in the blender to make smoothies are, fruit and juice. This is pathetic!!!! Now I have to waste my valuable time and go to the UPS store to return this junk. All I wanted was to replace a blender that I had for years. Please, save yourself some money.....DO NOT ORDER THIS JUNK! ... show more

This blender is great.it chops ice.gri is fruits and vegetables and you couldn't ask for anything better. I bought it for our favorite Mexican aqua fresca cucumber and lime.it was perfect even better than restaurant quality

it's garbage, amazon should not keep selling it, proof amazon is not checking vendors and selling only by who gives them the highest profit, a 3.6 star rating and amazon is still seling it as recommended . . . it leaked thru the bottom prop the second time we used it and shorted out and smoked. It's a fire hazard, and they do NOT REFUND ! ! ! the bottom shroud is cheap weak plastic . . . to see if it could be opened and repaired . . . it was obvious the garbage was coming apart . . . never seen anything represented as a good product by amazon with such poor score (continuous complaints) and so poorly made easily witnessed by anyone looking at it, literally amazon and the vendor "gross negligence" pushing this crap and not refunding ... show more
