I have six cats. Five of the six can hang out on this simultaneously without impinging on each others' territory...including the hissy lady who likes no one. This one does take time to assemble, so set aside an afternoon...or build it in stages over a few days. Your cats won't care if the house isn't fully built after the first day, they're just going to love having something soft to climb and sleep on! I like the easy-to use instructions, and I like that this one has such a large base for extra stability. These can get messy in multicat households, so don't be surprised if you need to use a hand-vac on it every other week or so to clean off stray litter and loose cat fur. My only dislike is that this brand's cat-houses are, like most cat-houses, not great for really large cats like Maine Coons because there's too much cat to fit in or on most of the spaces.

we have four cats in our house and they truly love this thing they were crawling all over it as we were putting it together. Putting it together was really easy. We used a drill to make the process a little bit quicker, but it’s not necessary. you can use hand tools. It was the instructions were very clear very straightforward. I will say that if you were halfway through if you place like a post in the wrong hole you will notice it at the end, cause it assembles from bottom to top . This did happen to me and my top-tier didn’t align correctly with the pre-drilled holes to attach it so I did have to do a little bit of backtracking, but it wasn’t a whole lot and it was pretty easy to figure out where I had a had messed up the tower itself is very sturdy and it has several places for the cats to play hide and attack each other.

This is absolute junk. Came with missing parts, so we had to improvise putting it together. Pieces have fallen off since then that we had to replace to the best of our ability. The fabric was very soon in shreds. Some of the features cannot be used, as they have no support. Our previous tree had none of these problems even after several years of use.

Update: 1/18/26: Another con I would like to add; the columns for the two side perches are a bit portly made. It’s made from cardboard that’s tightly wrapped a few times and is stapled to plastic cups at the top and bottom. Over time from the movement of cats climbing up and down, these eventually tear away from the plastic cups, since the main part is made of cardboard, you can imagine how not durable it is. Everything else seems to be holding up. Having a drill handy really speeds things up. Took about two hours to build. Looks great and cats love it! Only negative I have to say is that 2 of the panels holes were misaligned so I had to measure my center to center distances for the threaded studs and use a bit to drill out the holes. Other than that, it’s sturdy even without attaching the strap to the wall. (You’d have to really push or pull it hard to get it to topple over. For the money, the pre-drilled holes should’ve been correct but I love that my cats love it.

I have some of the most picky cats around. But this cat tree is great!!!! All of my medium to large cats are on it. As far as assembly. I studied the diagram for a couple of days. One great help in assembly. I used a small Dewalt impact drill to screw everything in. Put it down a notch from max. Torqued the bolts right in to place. Time for myself to assemble it was a little over two hours. But it's worth it. If you have picky cats.
