I would prefer to have greater difference between the sides. The grit is rough enough to quickly remove nail, but the other side should be fine enough to buff.

This is a great little emery board. It has a fine grit on one side, and of course grits on the other. However, I was expecting to find grit to be more fine but product is perfectly acceptable.
