It is very powerful and has many cool attachments. Maybe too powerful. I had trouble controlling it. My nonstick pans were supposed to be silverware safe, but one was scratched pretty badly by the stainless steel guard around the blade. (My previous immersion blender had a plastic guard, so it was safe for all dishes and worked for 30 years without damaging itself or cookware). It was a welcome surprise to find that it is quite powerful and I have used the mini food processor option several times. Just right for small amounts of chopping and much easier to handle and clean than a full sized food processor or blender. I love blender. My only objection is that it’s too big to fit into a drawer, a little heavy to hold and the blade cut through my teflon pot. Other than that it makes delicious soups and even cuts up raw veggies with no effort!
