I read all the reviews and was a bit dubious, but we've had bad luck with traditional bean bags chairs and my tween kids needed portable and comfortable chairs to sit on. After looking through, I decided on the 4' ones in gray and navy blue. As you can see, the two 4' chairs take up half of our living room. These things are HUGE and super comfortable. The bags are REALLY compacted into their cardboard boxes, and it takes some patience to pull the fabric from the inside material and try to pull apart the material inside to make it fluff up faster (it has one zipper but there are two closures, and we couldn't figure out how to open it up, so we just fluffed it without opening up the bags). This is a good purchase and the price, and I'm glad we bought them. NOTE- The blue bag really is navy now, not royal blue, so it looks like Amazon fixed the color issues there FWIW.

Bought 4’ bags for kids 4-9. They love it. My own feelings are that this is not the bean bag that I’m used to. The memory foam gives a distinct yielding sensation when sat on. This is not the same as beans squishing around each other which gives much more support after u settle into it. Also, this product is staticky, cracks static every time I fluff the bag before sitting on it. We bought about $80 worth of additional bean bag memory foam filler to prop it up more. This made it much easier to sit down on without first having to fluff it up. The bag provides better support when filled up. It does take more space (a big ball instead of fat disc) but hey, what’s a bean bag if you can’t comfortably sit on it, right ? Opening up double zippers, the foam is accessible. I suppose the design is to allow you to take foam out and wash just the cover. Although I’m honestly having trouble imagining a container that can hold these 33.5 cu.ft. of small foam pieces while the cover is being washed. Overall, this is a good starting point, but I’d imagine most people will want it more full.

I got the red 6’ lounger. So, I managed to roll it up the stairs one step at a time, by myself, in the zip fabric bag that is inside the box, to the upstairs room. I’m a girl and old (lol 57), not hard to do on your own, definitely do-able. Once inside the room, unzipped the fabric shipping bag to reveal the lounger air shrunk inside a clear plastic bag. Released it from the plastic bag but no immediate “poof” as you would expect from something shrink wrapped (all the air sucked out to make it smaller for shipping). I started to pick at the fabric cover, it was slow going, and once I got the cover looser, eventually had to get inside the red fabric cover to break apart the compacted foam bits. If you read the inserts, the zipper tab has been removed for child safety (very frustrating but ok, I guess, probably a dumb consumer law). I bent open a large paper clip, as per the instructions (READ them!), and it unzipped easily. I dove my arms into the cover and used them like salad tossers to break apart the bits of foam that were packed together due to the shrink wrap shipping process. Ugh…what a mess. Highly recommend you place a large sheet or plastic under the bean bag before you unzip and begin the break apart process. That way it might be easier to clean up, the foam bits and bobs go everywhere and stick to everything. Once I was happy with the foam bits (the stuffing) being separated sufficiently, I zipped it up using the large paper clip. Then…clean up begins. Quite a mess and time consuming but with a good vacuum, it does happen eventually. I rolled the bag around, tossed it about, to fluff it up. It did get pretty fluffy. I actually spent the night on it even though I wanted to let it puff up more for a few days—but my husband was ill so I chose to isolate. The main takeaway is that you do smush it down with body weight but it will puff up again if you just roll it back and forth, flip it over and back. I guess it could use more filling, too. Biggest complaint is the chemical smell coming from the bits of foam inside…again, this is only 24 hours in so we will see, but that smell better relax and dissipate over time. Overall…not bad for the price IF that smell dissipates. Pretty comfy for watching tv, using a tablet, reading, etc. Sleeping is ok…I am 5’5” and my feet dangled over the edge a bit. I like it. I might try to procure more foam stuffing…it could use a bit more, IMHO. UPDATE: After several days and daily rolling and flipping, the foam stuffing has puffed up a great deal more and the pod is huge! YAY. The weird chemical smell from the stuffing seems to be dissipating but very slowly.

This is a great beanbag chair, very big. It came very well packaged arrived earlier then the date it was supposed to get here, after unpacking it I unzipped it just enough to get a broom handle in there and break up all the foam. , this way the foam stays inside and doesn’t make a mess. The bean bag gets really huge, very comfortable, I can sit on it for hours and never hit the bottom. I don’t understand what all the complaints about not having a removable cover, it’s just like a lot of furniture not all chairs and sofas have a removable cover. Most chairs and sofas are spot clean only, as this beanbag is spot clean only. No big deal. When I’m done sitting on it I just flip it over and leave it and it resets itself. No need to fluff it just flip it over and leave it.

I am writing to express my disappointment with a product I purchased during your Black Friday promotion in November 2023. I bought these items for my children at $30 each, expecting decent quality and value. However, I recently took a closer look and was shocked to find what appeared to be little more than a trash bag filled with sponge material. It was extremely disheartening to realize that the product lacked even a basic lining or covering something I believe should be standard, even in a discounted item. I sincerely hope the newer versions of this product have addressed this issue and no longer use plastic bags in such a way. I understand this may have been an oversight, but as a customer, I feel let down by the lack of quality and consideration in the design.
