    • Great portable crate - Better than I expected!
I set up the new portable crate today, even though I won't be traveling with it yet. I wanted my adult dog (80 pound Great Pyrenees/GSD mix) to get some exposure to it so she would be comfortable in it once we do start traveling. I set it up in my home office in about 10 minutes; it literally was so easy, just pop up and snap the arms on the metal frame together. It was also very lightweight and easy to carry around and adjust the positioning. Voila! She spent about 2 hours in it and seemed comfortable. It was big enough for her to stand up and turn around in, she had plenty of space to snooze and overall had no issues. The bottom is padded with a nice fleece top, attached not removeable, and seemed comfy for her. There are mesh panels on the sides and top for plenty of airflow - nice if using it outdoors or camping. I bought the large (42X31x31) size & it was plenty big enough for my big sweet girl, but not so big that it would lead to any crate accidents. I am really happy with the purchase and expect to use it a lot! The only caveat: My dog is completely crate trained already - she has a wire crate downstairs that we use daily when no one is home & overnight for her to sleep in. She easily goes into her crate and has no anxiety about being in a crate. If you had a dog that you were crate training for the very first time, this might not be the best option since the soft exterior might be attractive for chewing. I would recommend this as a supplementary crate for a previously crate trained dog & also to give your dog some exposure to it before traveling with it, to avoid "new place/new crate" anxiety. ... show more

Easy to take down and put back up! I wouldn’t use it to carry your pet in, but great for taking on trips with you pet!

This 42” crate is unbelievably simple to set up and to close up. It had plenty of (extra) room for a German Shepherd! Came with a real nice soft pad for her to lay on. Ventilation on all court sides. Multiple outside compartments for keys, water bottles, treats, snacks, supplies. Everyone at our training club thought it was really slick! Blue is a beautiful color, too! Love these kennels. I bought two of the 42" ones for my dogs. They both weigh in the 70 lb range. They have plenty of room to spare. Very sturdy for a soft kennel. They also come with a small bed for the bottom. Also have pockets to store things in, which is always a plus. If I ever need more travel kennels, I will buy these again. ... show more

Ordered this for travel with my 60lb Irish Doodle and it really met the purpose of our purchase. Very lightweight and easily fits in the trunk of my 2019 Accord and 2018 Rav4. Has a fleece bottom for the dog to sleep on and gives them a comfortable resting place. Our dog hates getting in the crate but he went in this one with the same struggle as his huge metal crate at home, but no problems. I would recommend this for purchase. ... show more
