This kit includes 2 brackets and hardware to attach the brackets to your bedframe as well as the hardware necessary to attach the head or footboard to the brackets. Instructions are clear and the installation is pretty simple and quick. In my case I needed to drill a couple of holes into the bedframe of my platform bed. I think in most cases that would not be necessary. This is a pretty basic kit but it is everything needed for this project. I ordered these bed frame headboard brackets to attach a wood headboard to my metal framed platform bed. The pair of brackets are made from a thick, sturdy metal and came with appropriate screws, bolts and washers. Unfortunately, I can’t get them to line up properly with my metal bed frame. don't get me wrong, it fit the way that is was supposed to and does what it says it does but...when you move around in the bed, it allows the foot board to move some and flex. I expected it to be more sturdy and thicker to get ride of the movement completely while allowing me to have a footboard attached to the metal bed platform frame. It want on pretty easy...will need a decent bed skirt if you don't want to see it and it is not particularly attractive once in place. ... show more
