They were squeezed into this tiny box. I have received pillows folded like this and tossed them in the garbage after a few uses. They never divest from the fold. They stink to high heaven of bad perfume and insecticide like odor. I have them outside to de-gas hopefully. I will spray with vinegar water to deodorize to see if I can keep them. They still haven't fluffed up. Hours after they are not fluffy.

This would be a great pillow if it had 30% more filler. You can scrunch it up to get more loft under your head, but that gets tiresome. Your head will pretty much bottom out otherwise. If you are a side sleeper and like to scrunch up a pillow for under your arm, this is perfect. No chemical smell, soft covering. Would buy again IF AND ONLY IF they add more filler. UPDATE: I wrote the preceding review after 2 nights of sleeping on the pillow. I had let it fluff for 24 hrs per the instructions. Well, it continued to fluff over the next several days, and now I am much more impressed. I upgrade the rating to 4 1/2 stars.

Got this set for my parents as well as the Amazon Basics king-sized foam mattress. Their bedroom sets are legit. Mom said that she had the best nights sleep ever, and dad who was recovering from a surgery was able to sleep comfortably. A king sized mattress and a set of pillows, the mattress protector, sheets and a steel bed frame (all by Amazon Basics) for under $600? It’s all true. Upgrade your aging bedroom furniture today. You owe it to yourself to have a good nights rest for a fraction of what you pay the big labels.

The sales site does not mention the pillows are made in China. When I received them and read the instruction tag, which included the origin, I washed the pillows. That may have been a mistake on my part, even though I followed the instructions, for the pillows became a third larger top to bottom and lumpy. I just gave them my to a friend that liked a large pillow.

I have a slipped disc in my neck and these pillows are absolutely amazing. In fact I just bought another set since my daughter stole mine. They are very comfy. I am a go to sleep on your stomach, turn on your side and then end up on your back sleeper... for all positions this pillow works and doesn't cause my slipped disc pain!!! they're not too comfy, where you're all the way flat on the mattress, but they give you that little bit of lift and they're not too think where your neck is crooked, but you feel like you're sinking into a cloud with these!
