The foam was comfortable to sleep on, but was definitely not cooling, in fact I would say it made me sweat. Thickness was as expected, easily flattened so not much for support, size was as expected, appearance was as expected but easily got tears.

Some of the other reviews said it had an odor. I couldn’t smell anything. The instructions said it could take 72 hours for full expansion, but the first night it was very comfortable. I have a very flat firm mattress, which I really like, but after sleeping on Holiday Inn mattresses with the little extra memory foam, I had to try this ! Very satisfying! ... show more

We purchased a firm TP memory foam mattress that gave me shoulder and hip pain, so we went looking for additional padding. I purchased a TP serenity 3" topper from another store about 18 months ago. It started ripping and tearing pretty much immediately. After rotating it several times, because it broke down so much and my husband always felt like he was in a hole, it tore in half. I always felt like it was too soft/thick, even though it was a pretty dense memory foam. I was having knee and hip pain from the weird angle caused by sinking down so much. We tried putting thin blanket on top to stop the sinking, but it only caused other pain issues and I'd wake with any movement on his part. I debated on several toppers and knew I wanted a 2" next time so the firm mattress could give the support but we'd have just a little cushion on top to ease the pressure points. This has been perfect so far! No ripping or tearing. It seems pretty soft at first, but it's exactly what I wanted. I feel the firm support with the pressure points getting the extra cushion they need. It's been a month now, and since the first night I'm sleeping much better, no more pain. Love it! ... show more

    • Smells bad
This is prob close to the 10th foam bed topper I’ve bought. The reviews always say the smell is bad or chemicals and I’ll agree but never anything I couldn’t tolerate. This is by far the worst. Also the foam just seems cheaper than past purchases. This Amazon stuff is definitely not the old stuff I use to get. I’ll come back and raise the score if the smell is gone soon. If it’s still a 3 after 5-20-24. Then you know it did not improve enough. ... show more
