I have had this for several months now. It is very comfortable and adds a nice soft layer to the top of my hybrid mattress. My sheets fit over it perfectly as well.

    • Soft, squishy, not for me
I'll start by saying that I learned this topper (the medium one) is way too soft for me by sleeping on it for about a week, but that's not the topper's fault. Out of the box it had no significant scent like some of the other reviewers mentioned. It was hefty enough that it didn't move once it was on the mattress. It was soft and squishy (and if it didn't give me back pain because of how soft it was, I would have loved it). The "cooling" part of the product description is a straight up lie, and although I didn't expect much for the price point, I didn't expect it to retain more body heat than my budget mattress. In the end I removed it desperate need of comfort (both for my back and it's summer), but it didn't go to waste. It's made a very comfy set of pillows and a headboard cushion. In the end, most of the problem was me, and if you like to sink into the top of your mattress that doesn't stay cool, you might like this topper. ... show more

    • Extend the life of your mattress
Pretty happy with this purchase. My queen-sized mattress is about 10 yrs old, and although not in terrible shape, it was getting uncomfortable. Unsure of what I would like to replace it with, and not ready to spend that much money, I decided to try out this memory foam topper. I unpacked it and let is return to shape, which only took a few hours, but then, because there is a strong odor coming off it out of the box, I let it sit for almost a week before putting it on my bed. Still had some lingering odor, but not terrible, probably another week of me noticing it. I tried it by itself, and then later added a padded topper over it, and like it better that way. It evens out the slight bumps on the old mattress and is much more comfortable. I would say it took another week or two before I noticed that my back felt better when I got up in the morning. Only have it for a couple months so far, but very happy with it at this time. No idea how long it will last, of course, but hopefully I can get a couple more years out of the old mattress because of it. Would buy again. ... show more

    • Transformed our mattress which was too soft
I never write reviews but doing so for this product for 2 reasons. First, there were so many choices out there for foam toppers it was overwhelming trying to filter through them all. Second, I am not only pleased with the results myself but we have had 2 guests specifically ask about our mattress. We recently purchased a rental property and bought a fairly cheap bed in a box that was very disappointing as it was too soft. I took a chance on this memory foam topper and so glad I did. It greatly improved the mattress adding a level of firmness we didn’t have before. Since then, both of our recent renters have specifically asked what brand of mattress we purchased. It came with instructions on how to install it and it would take 72 hours so far it is been 48 hours. This is super comfortable I used to own a memory foam mattress and they’re amazing and having to downgrade to a regular mattress has been a lot of adjustments I would sleep less and be more in pain, but I also struggle to fall asleep. On my first night, I slept like a baby with no pain nothing so relaxed, and the cooling it’s better since it's summer, the Best investment, and the price is right if you’re staying on a budget. ... show more

    • Soft but NOT COOLING!
I tend to be a hot sleeper and at first I was extremely excited to see this gel pad on Prime Day come up because I figured it would not only make my bed softer but it would help cool the bed down at night. While I can say it made the bed much more comfortable softness-wise, it absolutely DID NOT cool anything down whatsoever. I feel like it actually made the bed hotter and because it doesn't really seem to absorb anything, I feel like my sheets turn into damp blankets every night because I'm getting so warm!
