Wish I got this sooner! Our dog is 125lb yellow lab and we got him the XL bed. We had a coolaroo that we bought a year and a half ago but it was constantly breaking and barely held up our dog. We finally pitched it and got him this one and I was so impressed! Same design as coolaroo but much better construction (better bolts, nice straight bars, better fabric). Our dog is higher off the ground and the frame feels sturdy. Absolutely great product for the price. Our dog was very happy! *Update 4/20/2020* It’s been a year and a half with this dog bed. It’s still just as sturdy. Never have had to readjust. Performs like new still. Our dog is out there practically year-round! :) (First picture was when we first bought it. Second picture of him sleeping was just taken.)

Easy to assemble. Dog loves it! He is 125 lbs and the cot part is sagging a little even though the weight limit is 170. So we shall see how long it lasts, but so far it’s great! Very lightweight and easy to move and comfy for the dog. I was afraid the Large would be too small for him, but it’s perfect! I would buy again especially for the price

The bed is sturdy, easy to assemble, a much better price than the brand name alternatives. You can see from the photos that the large size is plenty big for a dog about 40 pounds. You can also get an idea of the large size based upon a normal cat size. The cats seem to have taken to the dog bed before the dog does!!

Purchased this to keep my 75lb lab off the basement concrete floor where she frequency hides from storms/fireworks. I put her pet bed/blankets on top of this elevated platform and it works great. Doesnt move around on the concrete floor when the dog gets on it (which I was Leary of) and it was very supportive of her size and weight. Thought the dog may be freaked out with the change since she is 6 and has been hiding in the basement during storms for a number of years but surprisely had no issues. Matter of fact I have found her laying on this setup without rain so it must be more comfortable than before cause she was never in the basement without storms. Also the elevated platiform will prevent her pet bed from getting soaked and ruined during times of occasional basement flooding from a busted water heater, pipe or washer overflow ( which has all happened in the past ). The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was that the fabric wasn’t labeled as it was suppose too (with a letter “A” per directions) which caused me to put the fabric on the wrong way (seams up rather than down) which I didn’t correct because I didn’t want to take it all apart to flip the fabric. Also very easy to assemble despite having deformed fingers from rheumatoid arthritis. If I can do it anyone can lol

I had one of these beds in the past that was a different brand, and ordered this as a replacement when that one broke. My dogs LOVE these beds - if there is 3 beds in the room they will take the elevated bed first every time. Keep in the mind that the actual dimensions include the feet, the mesh dimmensions are slightly smaller. I would suggest setting a padded dog bed on top of the mesh so its softer for the dog if you're using this inside. When I have it outside I just use it with the mesh so that it helps them stay cooler during the summer months.

We had a large size elevated pet bed from a national brand, but our dog outgrew it. Looking for an extra-large, I found the Amazon Basics version and decided to give it a try. The bed frame is simple and easy to install. The bolts seem to be made of harder steel than the national brand alternative, and use a large allen wrench (included) to tighten them down. This is much better than the softer metal with a phillips head on the national brand bed! This bed is less "wiggly" than the national brand. I'm very happy, and so is my dog.
