  • Lasted 4 years Outside!
Color: Grey Size: Large
This elevated cooling pet bed is excellent quality, for the price. This is actually my second one. The first lasted 4 years outside in the Texas heat, rain, and even a little snow/ice (rare for TX, but it happens). That’s pretty impressive considering other brands I’ve tried cost twice as much and don’t last any longer than this one did. The bed is pretty solid but will slid around a little if the dog launches himself off of it. And yes over the years the wind has picked it up a few times. If the wind is going to be over 40mph I put it in the garage so I don't need to fetch it from the neighbors yard. The color lasted pretty well with only a little fading mostly just dirt. I clean it with the hose when I scub the patio once or twice a year. Our 75lb dog loves his patio bed, so when the old one finally gave out, I had to get him a new one. The updated version has a slightly different design. This one uses a 5mm allen wrench (included), while my older one used a 9mm. Assembly is basically the same, easy and straightforward. It does come with instructions, and they’re actually good ones. I didn’t need them since I’ve built a handful of these, but if it’s your first time, you’ll have it unboxed and together in 15 minutes. The hardest part might be keeping your dog off it while you build it (mine was so excited I had to put him inside just to take pictures.) One small downside: the paint coating on this newer version doesn’t seem as tough. It already had a few deep scratches just from putting it together. But overall, still a solid bed at a great price, and most importantly, my dog loves his outside bed to chill and watch for birds and to make sure the squirrels never come into the yard. ... show more

  • Good quality. Just loosen the screws, as needed, so that you can put it together properly.
Color: Green Size: Large
A bit of a pain to put together but only because it gets more difficult as you add pieces on. The overall process is simple but it's best to loosen the screws a bit once you get to the final corner. Tightening them all completely gives you no "play". It's also best to put it together outside or in an area where you have plenty of room to spread out and work. Don't do what I did with the first one (I ordered a 2-pak of these beds) and then tried to put it together in the middle of my tiny living room. Take it outside or somewhere where you have room to spread out and loosen those screws, as needed, so it goes together a bit easier. ... show more

  • A High-Value Cooling Solution for Your Large Dog!
Color: Green Size: Large
The Amazon Basics Elevated Dog Bed is a practical, durable, and budget-friendly option for keeping your pet comfortable, especially in warmer weather. Its elevated design and breathable fabric make it a significant upgrade over standard floor mats. What I liked: Superior Airflow: The breathable PVC mesh fabric allows air to circulate freely from all sides, which helps keep your dog significantly cooler than traditional plush beds that trap heat. Sturdy Construction: The metal frame is surprisingly robust for its price point. At 51" x 31", it provides a stable platform for large breeds without sagging or wobbling. Joint Relief: By lifting your pet 8 inches off the ground, it eliminates the pressure points caused by sleeping on hard surfaces. This is particularly beneficial for older dogs or those with joint sensitivities. Low Maintenance: The mesh is easy to clean—you can simply wipe it down with a damp cloth or hose it off outdoors. It also resists mold and mildew, making it a great choice for both indoor and outdoor use. Easy Assembly: The kit comes with everything you need, including a small hex tool. Most users find they can have it fully set up in under 10 minutes. This bed is a "no-frills" workhorse that delivers on its promises. It’s light enough to move around the house or take on camping trips, yet strong enough to handle daily use by a large dog. ... show more

  • Spacious & Easy to Assemble—Just Not Scratch-Proof
Color: Grey Size: Large
This raised dog bed was super easy to put together and is a great size—plenty of room for my pup to stretch out comfortably. It seems sturdy overall and does exactly what it’s supposed to. Looks nice in our space & it’s lightweight for moving around. The only downside is that it not completely chew resistant… it gets scratches and small holes pretty easily (but that’s partly my puppy being a little wild lol). If your dog isn’t a big scratcher, it’ll probably hold up much better. Overall, still a solid purchase! ... show more

  • My dog loves this bed
Color: Grey Size: Medium
I have a 9 year old GSP and she loves to lay on the porch and watch the birds and squirrels in the yard. I think this is a lot more comfortable for her than laying on the hard floor and keeps her cool in the hot weather because the air can move all around it. I'm considering getting another one for my other dog. Great quality and great price! (My cat loves it too. If the dog isn't on it, then the cat is!) ... show more

  • A great bed! Better than expected!
Color: Grey Size: Large
This is a great bed, especially for outdoors. We had this bed outside for when our dog wanted to rest, so she didn't have to lay on the hard ground. It's large and very breathable! The quality was better than I expected and very easy to put together, also! I recommend this bed for indoor or outdoor!

  • Difficult to Assemble
Color: Green Size: Large
The large size comes out of the box seemingly easy to assemble; there are four bolts, four poles, and one piece of mesh. However, there is some manufacturing or design flaw in the assembly. Once all four poles are in the mesh, it is nearly impossible to get the holes lined up to slide the bolts in all four. You have to alternate between loosening the other three bolts and pulling with all your strength the bars while pushing the feet of the bed with your own feet to align the holes. It took about 20 minutes but every minute was aggravating. I recommend the manufacturer loosen the tension of the designated end slots of the shorter “C” poles or make the C poles themselves shorter. ... show more
