Finally a post that my chonky sugar bear Mocha can use. It's stable enough unless she tries to jump off the top to a countertop. It's tall enough for a 16.2 lb fluff muffin. All my cats like to sit atop it. Sturdy construction, well wrapped cord for big paws and claws to scratch without destroying it in an hour. I got this in the hopes my cat would start scratching on this instead of my furniture. My cat loves it scratches on it now instead of my furniture and I had my doubts about the ball toy at the top my cat goes crazy playing with it on top of the pedestal. Will definitely buy another one once this one is worn out.

This is the best cat pole. does everything it says. Does not tip over. Very sturdy. My Maine coon has not tipped it over yet. And great for keeping his nails on those big paws trimmed. At 16 lbs. it is the only pole that lets him stretch all the way out. Well worth the money

First one i bought lasted a couple years before the material started coming off. But given that its sole purpose is to be clawed at, that's to be expected. I was impressed enough with the first one that I ordered a replacement.

I bought two of these to replace old, destroyed, scratching posts. I had recently purchased replacements at a local large retailer. My cats destroyed both of those posts in a matter of days. I read the reviews on these and bought two. They are holding up very well. The base should be a bit wider as my cats can knock them over. I will probably attach a wider base at some point. I have 4 large adult cats that are pretty active.

A simple, straight forward scratch post that works well. Reasonably easy to assemble, although it's really easy to pinch the hell out of your fingers on the folding base portion! It's sturdy, but not very stable if you have a larger, or rambunctious cat. I ended up getting a large square of plywood to provide more stability. Other than that, it's a worthwhile purchase and longer lived than the rope or carpet covered scratch posts.

I bought 2 scratching posts! Theses scratching towers are attractive to sit in your living room and made very sturdy. One of my cats is about20-25 lbs. and when I got the scratching post, I thought it would never stand up to the cat or the force of her leaning on it. They stood up solidly to the cats use of it.
