The cat scratcher is very easy to put together and doesn't take long to assemble. The pieces are sturdy because of the diagonal setup on the wide base, the scratcher does not fall over or topple. The cost is affordable and represents good value for money after being scratched every day for two years. wow, this is a wonderful hammock/stand! so well packaged, arrived early, super easy to put together. stable, sturdy, very well designed and quality workmanship. tips: since my 4 yr old is cautious around new things, I put a pair of my jammies in the plastic bag with the bse and the hammock overnight so it would smell more familiar. she was curious but not willing to leap up into the hammock she couldn't see inside it. so, I put a small stool next the the stand, and sure enough, she could see into the bowl of the hammock and hopped right in. thinking it would take awhile before she'd take a flying leap up, planned to leave the stool there for a week or so. she surprised me by hopping in twice ignoring the stool. so, if your cat(s) are slow to adapt to new things, this might help. I see why people buy multiples of these, I sure will get another one when this one needs replacing. I love the warm golden beige color. perfect for my decor. guessing this means I can donate the regular cat bed she has ignored. this is the 3rd time trying a bed for my fussy girl. this is a total winner! thrilled! ... show more

Super sturdy and easy to assemble right out of the box and would be even better if my cat actually used it. I’ve spread catnip all over and he prefers shredding the bottom of the couch. It’s short and if i could i’d probably spend a bit more and order a taller one.
