In my opinion, the bags are just one step below in strength compared to Simple Human bags, but they are strong enough to handle kitchen garbage and fit well in Simple Human trash cans that require G and K bags. This brand has a drawstring so the bags hug to the cans' rims nicely.

These are a little thin, but not so much that stuff rips through. These are perfect for my purpose, which is to put recyclables in a blue bag so the valet trash person takes it from my apartment to the cans. No scent, easy to open, secure closure when tying it shut.

The smell is neutral there is not a fragrance but there is also no smell from the items placed.
