Typically, I order him slim cut jeans from GAP and then pull the adjustable waist to its narrowest setting — and then he sometimes adds a belt. But he wanted sweatpants so I went on an internet quest to find something slender. The first time my mom saw him in them, she commented that he didn’t look like he was swimming in his sweatpants for the first time ever. We started out at size smalls and have ordered size mediums due to a sudden growth spurt (up but not out.) Great quality, warm and cozy. The size seems to be as described. I didn’t measure prior to purchase so that’s on me. I’m hoping it shrinks when I wash/dry and there is a drawstring so we are going to try to make them work. I folded the bottom. These are too long and too wide for skinny/tall almost 8-year old that’s 48” tall. Bigger hips too so not great for a straight body type.
