I bought this to go on my queen sleeper sofa (will need to be trimmed to size) for my guest room. Along with a bunkie board for support, this has transformed my 4 inch sleeper sofa mattress into a very comfy, supportive, yet soft, bed for my guests! My dad likes a firm mattress, while my mom likes a softer mattress (traditional memory foam). I needed this to meet the needs of both, since this will transition to our only guest bed eventually. Both of my parents are pleased with this topper and say it’s very comfortable. It’s more springy than traditional memory foam, bouncing back quicker and being less “sinky”. It’s not as dense as my Lucid brand topper, but it gets the job done. It fully inflated upon opening and didn’t have any odor, but I did give it a few days before making the bed anyway. Only downside is that while testing without a cover, little blue pieces came off everywhere. For the money, this is a good value. However, it’s not quite to the level of some name brands. But if price is a concern, this will be limited use, or you want something a bit more responsive than traditional memory foam, it would do just fine!

I have to admit that I bought an inexpensive mattress (budget constraints) and after awhile it had started to effect my lower back. I bought this topper based on the reviews and I love it! It is cushy and comfortable and I'm not having the same back issues. It's described as firm, but it's not hard and provides good support. When placing it on my bed, it did have a slight powder cocoa smell, but it wasn't unpleasant and was gone in a couple of days. Once it's at full size it is a bit heavy and bulky, so moving it will be somewhat cumbersome. I don't recommend buying a cheep mattress, but if you don't have choice this topper will improve your sleep quality.

Unfortunately, this is a very warm insulating mattress topper. Too squishy, so it also did not provide any additional support. Hoped to return it, but it is not returnable or refundable, so please choose wisely when purchasing a cooling gel topper. Many will feel cool to the touch. This is just dyed blue memory foam which is very warm. Time to make dog beds if they want to use it. Cats will not go near it and choose the carpet instead.

This mattress pad is very comfortable. There is, however, a pungent chemical smell. I don’t know what it is exactly but I hate it. I am hoping it goes away after time. it’s all I can smell when I lay down.

So I've spent a lot of money trying to find the perfect mattress topper. Im 6'2 250lbs and my main problem is having a topper that doesn't create a sunken in spot. The memory foam ones are ok but after awhile they would become uneven and therefore became very uncomfortable. I've tried the type which is like a poly filled and eventually those would become uneven. So I researched latex types and there were many positive reviews but the prices were all around $200+. For that price i couldn't afford to be stuck with it since these are nearly impossible to return. Then I read a review about this one (latex alternative) and the first review i read said "this topper bounces back quickly unlike memory foam". That was exactly what I was looking for, and indeed there is little to no "memory" with this type. I will say it is labeled as firm and it is very firm, but maybe it has to be that dense in order to maintain the shape. I've only had it for 1 day so if something fails on it I will definitely update this review. P.S. I paid $99 for this and did not recieve any kind of promotional discount. And and there was a little bit of a smell when opening but soon dissipated. Also it immediately expanded to the 3 inches despite saying it may take 72 hours. I haven't noticed any heat retention yet but I'm in FL and always have my AC blasting so that may be a problem for some. Good luck.

What is good about the foam is bounces right back, no squish like memory foam and makes an imprint. What is not acceptable is: IT STINKS. We've had this since the 16th, rolled out in the basement airing. Not getting better so we moved in into the sun every day, flipping and airing it. We finally brought it inside to try last night on the bed, and now my husband has a bad headache, the bedroom windows are wide open with a temperature of 38 outside, the room smells horrible. So, after 9 days of airing completely, it's no better. I warn you not to purchase this foam if you are using it inside your home.

I really wanted to love this topper from the start, but the ordering experience was strange. My first topper showed up damaged with multiple tears, so I requested a replacement. The second one arrived in perfect condition… but it was different dimensions and different density. That said, the replacement I received is actually great. It’s noticeably denser, the dimension were accurate to a queen size(the first was larger, odd dimensions) feels higher quality, and has that cooling latex feel I was hoping for in the first place. I’m happy with what I ended up with, but I honestly don’t know what’s going on with their inventory or quality control. Buyer beware: you might get a fantastic topper, or you might get a weird mis-manufactured version first. If not for the ordering shenanigans, this would’ve been 5 stars.
