I am a full figured woman. In highschool I wore a 34 D bra and by the end of college a 34 DD. By the time I was in my 50s that had gone up to 36 DD and by now in my 70s 38DD. I am always on the lookout for a comfy, supportive, somewhat minimizing bra with a "natural" shape. Because I am certainly big enough, I never look at padded bras. Although this was described as "lined" the cups are indeed padded. Not what I was looking for. HOWEVER - the way the cups cradle my gorls is great and the bra back is comfortable and minimizes bulges. I was surprised how much I like this. I bought two and I would buy it again. ... show more

I am in bra heaven. In the past few years buying a bra was a huge hassle for me. Can't tell you how many I've bought after more than an hour of trying on dozens only to be unhappy shortly after. I wear a 38D. Not so large that buying a bra should be a problem. I don't want fancy, I want SUPPORT. That means underwires, higher sides and a back with a minimum of 3 hooks and straps that I am not constantly putting back up on my shoulders and not priced higher than my car payment !!! This bra fits all the requirements. Smooth under t-shirts, nice high sides, comfortable straps and wide back with 3 hooks !!! I don't need any padding but the layer of padding in this bra is not too much. I think the BEST thing about this bra is the way the straps are connected in the back. The point on the back bands that rises to a peak and connects to the strap keeps the strap from shifting at all !!! Ingenious !! I do custom sewing and have cut off and reattached the straps on some of my bras to try to solve the problem but it caused the back bands to pull up at the center, this design is a much better solution. I give it 5 stars and an A+. It is very comfortable to wear and makes my clothes look better because my bust is supported and up where it should which creates better shape. Got my first one in white and definitely going to order at least 2 more. (interesting how the different colors have different prices.) ... show more

I have never worn a Vanity Fair bra. I have been pleased with its fit so far. I am 67 years old, 5'8" and weigh 145 lbs. My bra size for decades has been 36DD. I noticed a couple years ago that my breast appear to be sagging more and my bras were getting too tight. I have also been the same weight for decades. I am really struggling now to find a bra to fit. My new size appears to be around a 34H. I usually cannot find an "H" in the stores, and sometimes cannot find it online either. My former "go to" bra no longer fits me the same even with an H cup. This Vanity Fair style is my best fit at the moment. It is boosting my breast up and does not slide up & down on my shoulders. I do know that it is important to have the right measurement to ensure a bra fits correctly. Good luck! ... show more

Although the next smaller size (44 C) used to fit comfortably, the fit of the 46 C is out of wack. The side bands have a strange large gap.
