- Lightweight & Portable for Everyday Use: Designed as a foldable, lightweight guitar stand for easy transport and storage. Ideal for home use, practice sessions, and temporary setups rather than heavy-duty or permanent studio applications.
- Compatible with Standard Guitar Types: Supports most acoustic, electric, bass guitars, and similar instruments. Not recommended for oversized or non-standard body shapes (e.g., large jazz bass, jazz guitar or unusually shaped instruments).
- Stable Tripod Design on Flat Surfaces: Equipped with a tripod base and anti-slip rubber feet for stability on flat, even surfaces. Ensure all legs are fully extended and properly positioned before placing your instrument.
- Adjustable Height with Secure Locking Mechanism: Features a friction knob to adjust height and secure the upper yoke. Proper tightening is required to maintain positioning and prevent movement during use.

I picked up this Amazon Basics height-adjustable guitar stand, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well-designed and reliable it is. For something so budget-friendly, it feels incredibly solid and secure — definitely not flimsy or wobbly like some of the inexpensive stands I’ve tried in the past. Assembly & Setup: Putting it together took just a couple of minutes. All the parts snapped into place easily, and the adjustment mechanism works smoothly. I appreciate that it folds up quickly, too — perfect for storing or taking to practice sessions. Stability & Build Quality: Once my guitar was on it, I immediately noticed how stable the stand is. The base has a wide stance that prevents tipping, and the padded arms keep the instrument from slipping or getting scratched. The neck yoke holds the guitar gently but securely, giving me peace of mind that it won’t fall forward if someone bumps it. Versatility: It’s advertised as fitting acoustic, electric, bass, and even banjos — and after testing it with both an acoustic and an electric, I can confirm it handles different body shapes really well. The height adjustment is especially useful for larger or oddly shaped instruments. Overall Impression: This stand feels like a much more premium product than the price suggests. It’s dependable, easy to use, and thoughtfully designed, with padding in all the right places. If you want a simple, sturdy, all-purpose guitar stand that you can trust with your instruments, this one is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended — I’ll be buying another for my music room.

Really impressed with this stand for the price. Assembly is straightforward, the padding is soft enough to protect the finish, and it feels stable on any surface. I use it daily for my classical guitar and it holds it perfectly.

The part that locked the guitar neck in place is very flimsy and will break off in no time however it's tilted enough that guitar still sits on in it fairly well.

Very nice stand. I particularly like the neck safety strap that keeps my banjo from falling forward out of the stand if I am moving it .

I'm extremely impressed with this Amazon Basics guitar stand. I needed something reliable that could handle both my acoustic and electric guitars, and this stand delivers perfectly. What I love about it: Sturdy Construction: It's made from durable, thick metal with good rubber padding where the guitar rests, so I feel confident my instruments are safe from scratches and tipping. Highly Adjustable: The height adjustment is super easy, allowing me to comfortably fit my acoustic, electric, and even my bass guitar without any issues. Folds Flat: This is a huge bonus! It folds down compactly, which is fantastic for transport to gigs or just for neat storage when not in use. Universal Compatibility: It works for all kinds of guitars and even banjos, making it a truly versatile stand for any musician. For the price, you really can't beat the quality and features of this stand. It's a fantastic buy for anyone needing a reliable, space-saving guitar holder.

I can only echo what other reviewers have said. It is a simple frame that is very functional. Quick and easy to assemble, and a convenient way to position a guitar in a protected position.

It sucks to be real with you. The closing part always falls off and it’s not hard to build and it holds the guitar but it’s super annoying when the black pieces fall off.
