We finally gave up on finding either a weather-proof Alexa or a Bluetooth speaker with a mic that we could pair with one of our devices and bit the bullet on this, and I have to say it was absolutely worth it. The sound is great even across the pool, it works great as an Echo device, and the charging base is as simple to use as we could want. Absolutely love these. We use them for our outdoor veranda and pool area. Just purchase another set so we can use it for our outdoor tv. I love how they are portable so we can move them around depending on where everyone is sitting. It has great sound and the app is easy to navigate. Other Sonos products haven’t been my favorite, but they must’ve upgraded a few things since my last Sonos purchase about 7 years ago. Where do I start? I absolutely LOVE this speaker. I initially bought a Bose SoundLink Revolve+ II, thinking I’d love it as much as my Bose headphones. . .I didn’t. My biggest gripe was that it distorted when turned up (and not even very loudly). It also had mediocre bass. However , this Sonos speaker has none of those issues. I had never bought Sonos before, but I’d heard good things, so I figured I’d try em out. Glad I did. The sound is fantastic. This speaker is LOUD, but it does not distort! If you live in an apartment, you could potentially annoy your neighbors. I don’t even turn it up halfway, and you can still hear it well. The bass is crazy good. It’s not wall-shaking booming bass, but it very present and you will “feel” it depending on the song and your settings. Speaking of settings, this has a handy EQ you can tune the sound with. (The Bose speaker didn’t have that.) I will say that the Bose speaker had a more immersive sound, given its 360° design. But the Sonos still sounds better to me. The vocals come through front and center without overpowering the underlying music. My only “complaint” is I wish the Sonos app had a widget for your phone. But overall the app is easy to use and you can pull in your Apple Music, SiriusXM, and many other music apps and use them inside the Sonos app. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and would consider Sonos stuff again. ... show more

I am a stereo nut…Tivoli, Bose. I don’t need another set of speakers, but just had to have these! I have nothing of Sonos. I was curious. I purchased a pair of these and was so excited when they arrived. The first one connected no trouble and I set up the second one. Again, no problems. Then, I set them up to play and the first one refused to play, then just DIED!!! I tried and tried to power it on, but no! Back it went to Amazon the next day. I then ordered another one to arrive the next day. It was fine and I am enjoying them linked as stereo!! Wonderful sound. I am going to play them as much as I can for the 30-day return window. I am a little concerned about receiving one that was basically DOA. Two days of constant playing and I am very impressed with them! Battery is long lasting. ... show more

Great sounding speaker, however the software is too complicated and the speaker is not always listening. You need to keep turning it on before asking Alexa to do something. It saves battery but isn’t convenient. I couldn’t believe the bass that come from such a small speaker. I like the waterproofing as I use it near my spa. I don’t have the time to describe the software challenges. The app certainly needs work. Great sound though! ... show more

This is the most difficult application/bluetooth product I have ever used. All i want to do is be able to play the music in iTunes thru the Sonos speakers and it doesn't work.

Great sound, but expensive. I was able to get them for 10% off. They sound great and so far I am not having any issues with app. I have connected these to my Wi-Fi. I haven't tried the Bluetooth yet. You have to stay in the Sonos ecosystem to use them.
