Its a good value, the saw cuts very well. I am taking a star off the review because the saw is a bit too flexible, so when you rotate it back into the handle you need to be careful to align it, else it can "miss" the center indention. Its not a buy it for life saw, but works good enough

As title says, I am sure anyone looking at this review has seen the same design from many manufacturers, so going compared to other version; This sits above a lot of other cheap versions, but not as good as "the known and name brand" version. That said, it is also half the price of name brand so if not going to be used a lot this is good choice. ... show more

This is better than I expected. The blade is sturdier and the locking mechanism functions well. This is perfect for post-storm walk arounds since it fits in a pocket, or keeping in the car for fallen branches.
