I purchased these for a 12 day trip to Europe. They are not compression bags, however, they are great for organizing clothing for packing. I was able to fit all of my clothing (including a light weight coat, sweater, long sleeved shirts, rain coat, jeans, shirts, underwear) into these 4 bags and they fit nicely into my suitcase. I rolled each piece of clothing before placing the clothing into the bag and was able to fit all of my clothing items in these 4 bags. Upon arrival at our destination it was easy to pull out each bag and unpack. All 4 bags were the same size and I prefer this to other options with various sizes in the set. I experienced some luggage lock issues on my journey. It was somewhat reassuring to know my clothing would be contained in 4 bags if the locks failed :) I will definitely use these bags on short and long trips in the future. ... show more

    • Great for organizing a suitcase and recommended (small and slim sizes)

First, these are not compression cubes! They do squish your items down better than leaving everything "loose" (whether folded or rolled) in your suitcase. Everything stays organized. I love being able to see what's in the cubes through the mesh. The mesh also lets the clothes breathe. The double zipper is great. I didn't find any holes or loose seams. The material itself could experience a bit of fraying on the raw edges under the inside zipper seams. In my experience, I just use scissors to trim those threads off (don't pull). The material is a lightweight ripstop with just enough body to have a bit of shape, allowing easier loading. Using these cubes doesn't take up any significant additional room in my suitcase. The tops open all the way. The fabric stays reasonably wrinkle-free. I ordered the small and slim sizes in gray. The slim is the size stated. The small is 10.5" x 2.5" x 6.75. So a bit smaller than the description. The cubes are not machine washable because they have a water-resistant coating. That can come off with the water and agitation of a washing machine. I plan to just wipe them down with a washcloth at the end of my trip, though I'd prefer to be able to use a washing machine. Shouldn't be a problem because I put dirty laundry in plastic bags rather than directly back into my cubes. The slim cubes are perfect for fitting between the suitcase interior bars from the handle. The small size is good for playing tetris with the rest of the space, or fitting into the bottom of a pack. I use both sizes to maximize my carry-on and personal item space. Also great for my small checked bag if I need that one. I prefer smaller packing cubes because I rarely take anything that needs a bigger cube. I don't know how long these will last but the price and sizing are right for at least several trips. ... show more

We purchased the medium and small and they are the perfect width and depth for the a standard hard sided carry on. Two small plus one large fit snugly in the open side of the suit case (the other side has a zippered area). Two mediums also fit well side by side, if slightly less than full. Definitely worth it if you are like me and will try anything to avoid checking a bag, but hate how clothes go popping out if you try to squeeze a bunch of clothes directly in a bag. ... show more

It comes with various size cases, from small to larger. I don't like the feeling of some vinyl material, but it does organize my travel items well. We were taking a cruise and I wanted to be as organized as I could be and thought I'd try these cubes. I will never travel again without my cubes!! These are THE best!!! Inexpensive. Functional. Worth every penny. Zippers function really well. I don't even unpack the cubes, I just put them right in whatever dresser drawers I have. Works for clothes, cords, batteries, etc, etc...     • Truck driver, 2 years of use and still perfect
I bought these while team driving and now use them as a solo. So they hold all of my clothes for everyday use instead of having a closet or dresser. They stack well in the truck cabinets, they are super handy for organizing and carrying clothes. So far the zippers and the mesh are all holding up really well, and I pack them pretty full. Useful size and a good compliment to other packing cube sizes. A good balance of cost and quality. Not as nice as Eagle Creek or Osprey but better than the cheap packing cubes. Zipper is fine.
