I purchased these filters to fit a porter cable 4 gallon vacuum and The approximately 6"x7" foam bags do fit, but it is a tight fit. I do like the fact the foam filter covers the housing bottom also. These filters have a seam across the bottom so they are therein lies the fit problem, as the bottom seam is straight across instead of being shaped like a cup, as the filter is pulled on the round housing it gets progressively tighter at the bottom and more difficult to pull up in place. That is when it becomes easy to tear, so care must be given at this point. Once in place I just use a single rubber band at the top for security. The other issue I have is the filter material is about 1/4 inch thick and very porous, which doesn't do a good job of keeping dirt, sand,etc. from going through the foam and entering the air intake, basically the foam just keeps out the big stuff. I will attempt to use these because better than nothing, maybe try a small laundry wash bag over it, but I would not recommend these filters ... show more

I have a Ridgid 4Gal 5hp shop vac, they fit loosely on the vacuum and fall off the fitting during use. I’m sure I can modify them a little to make it tighter but definitely better options out there.

I've had this Armor All Wet/Dry Vac (wheeled version) for years but never used it as a wet vac because I did not have the required foam canister filter for it. Not even close to fitting. It probably only fits the Floor Master version, which has a much smaller suction cage. The All Around has a cage that is tapered at the bottom end. It's around 7.75" diameter at the top, and 7" at the bottom, which is closed, not open, so you want a sleeve that is just a tube. I did find the right one, eventually, which also needs a paper sheet dust filter wrapped around it, since there are no dry vacuum cartridges for this model (you MUST use a bag for dry vacuuming). Hope this helps someone else!
