Let me begin by putting this in perspective: before I discovered nicotine lozenges, I wasn't able to stop smoking. Period. I'd go six months -- and still be climbing the wall. Decade after decade. For me, the lozenges made all the difference. Not that it was easy. I still had to go through withdrawal. I slipped. But ultimately, it worked. That was years ago, and today there are alternatives, including vaping, which, while better than smoking, damages the lungs. Zyban, the most effective treatment, but not without side effects--I would try other aids first, and then go to that if nothing else works. You have to find what works for you, and that isn't going to be the same for every person. Back to the lozenges: Their main advantage over the patches is that you have more flexibilty with dosing -- you can use as much as you need, rather than the too much or too little of a patch. They're easier to use than the gum, which requires an effort to control the dose. Their main disadvantage is that if you chew them, you'll get queasy, and it's easy at first to forget and chew without thinking. They also taste bad -- but don't let that stop you, the bad taste will stop bothering you within a day. Otherwise, these are roughly comparable to the lozenges I've used from other companies, so I'd choose them on the basis of price.

Equally as effective and same quality as other brands, just at a significantly lower cost. These are nearly half the price of the same flavor and milligram of the Walgreens store brand ones. I’m so glad I found these, now I can spend half the money quitting smoking.

I use these as a smoking/vaping substitute. These are perfect for times when no smoking is allowed. I am currently using them to help me quit vaping completely. I am using them to ease the cravings especially when I first wake up, after eating and when I'm driving. Those are true triggers for me and so far so good. I can put them in my pocket and I'm good where ever I go and I like the cherry flavor. They are a little intense when you first begin and burn a little, at first, on your gums, but I'm completely used to it now and it doesn't even phase me.

Update: Added this after looking more closely at this product. You can tell what it is by the NDC # on the package. The minis we've all known and loved are: NDC- 72288-734-01. This new version, which has different ingredients, including corn syrup so it's not even sugar free on top of tasting terrible is NDC-72288-694-83. Totally different product and I am surprised Amazon isn't required to state that, rather than telling us the packaging is different. Nobody cares that the packaging is different. For those of you who have ordered these in the past and liked the soft mint, as opposed to the sharp mint of other brands, forget it. These taste horrible, they've clearly contracted this out to the same company that makes all the other crap tasting nicotine minis. Packaging is the same, product is not. They are a burning mint and gritty, just like all the other crap brands. AND, they've raised the price. So ridiculous to do this with a product people become loyal to AND will order on the regular. As well, and as a minimum, Amazon should alert people to the fact that it's not going to taste the same, considering what they're charging for them. This move is about as clever as New Coke.

Gave this some time before leaving a review. Everyone is different and everyone's goals of quit smoking/vaping is different. Smoked cigs for over 20 years then some years ago switched to vaping. Ended up vaping more than smoking because I never smoked cigs indoors. I have tried many times over the years to quit cold turkey but was unsuccessful. This time decided to try these lozenges from Amazon. I do not care for the patch and I do not like chewing gum because it irritates my gums. Technically needed to start with the 4mg lozenges but decided to start with the 2mg. Per the plan you technically take about 9 per day but day one for me only 4 was needed. Happy I went with the 2mg. It definitely helps with the cravings and my mood. Totally different day one then quitting cold turkey! Takes about 30 mins to desolve and the cherry taste is just right. Hoping at some point in the near future I can wean myself off these but at this point in my journey I am very satisfied. These are not for everyone but they are definitely for me!
