Hello! Ibuprofen is one of those things I always keep in my medicine cabinet, and this 500-count bottle from Basic Care is a great value. I've used it for headaches, muscle soreness after working around the house, back pain, and other everyday aches and pains. It works exactly as expected and provides relief fairly quickly, usually within about 20 to 30 minutes for me. I also found it helpful years ago when I was wearing braces. After adjustments, my teeth and gums would often feel sore for a day or two, and ibuprofen helped make the discomfort much more manageable. What I like most is the quantity. With 500 tablets in the bottle, I don't have to think about replacing it anytime soon. The tablets are easy to swallow, and I haven't noticed any unpleasant taste or aftertaste. I've used both name-brand and store-brand ibuprofen over the years. I've also discussed over-the-counter pain relievers with my PCP (Primary Care Physician), and these are essentially the same as the major store brands in terms of the active ingredient and dosage. In my experience, they work just as well while costing considerably less. Overall, this is a practical item to keep on hand for everyday aches and pains. I usually buy my ibuprofen when we go to the big Warehouse store. The ibuprofen is $12 for 1000 tablets. However with gas prices at nearly $5 a gallon it's not cost effective to go to the Warehouse store as often. I bought this mainly because it was a much better value compared to smaller bottles, especially for something that gets used regularly around the house. The tablets work exactly the same as more expensive name brands I have purchased before, and I have not noticed any difference at all. The bottle is easy to store, and it is nice not having to constantly rebuy smaller packs every few weeks. I also appreciate that the expiration date was good and the safety seal arrived intact.
