Ibuprofen is one of those basic items I like to always have in the medicine cabinet. Between the occasional headache, sore muscles after a workout, body aches, and the normal aches and pains that come along, we reach for it often enough that buying a tiny bottle doesn't make much sense for us. That’s why I went with the Amazon Basic Care 1,000-count bottle. It’s a lot of tablets, but I like knowing we have a good supply instead of realizing we're almost out when someone actually needs it. For me, it works the way I expect ibuprofen to work. I’m not looking for anything fancy from a generic medication—the important things are the active ingredient, correct dosage, expiration date, and that the bottle arrives properly sealed. I also appreciate the value compared with repeatedly buying smaller packages. Obviously, 1,000 tablets is far more than some households will need, so I recommend checking the expiration date and considering how quickly you'll realistically use them before buying such a large quantity. I always follow the dosing instructions and pay attention to the warnings on the label, especially since ibuprofen isn't appropriate for everyone and can have risks when taken too frequently or in excessive amounts.
