When experiencing back ache, I take pills and sit down for a while. Taking the pills and sitting for a while did help. Benefit of the doubt - definitely not a controlled, scientific test - so assume it does work. Also find that acetaminophen extended-release tablets work just as well, but seem to last longer. This is an aspirin type pill much stronger than a typical aspirin. Stomach bleeding may occur so be careful. The relief you get is just ok but don't overdose or take them too often as it increases the chance of side effects.
