Since I can't swallow pills (it's psychological--I'm afraid of choking), I use this bottle of Ibuprofen instead for menstrual cramps. It works GREAT! In fact, it works pretty fast.     • Works well for teething infant
We've been using the children's motrin a couple times a month when our daughter's teething issues start to interrupt her sleep. She is around 10 months and 20 lbs now, and we started using it when she was 6 months old. I would prefer to avoid using medications completely, but this has been a lifesaver the few times she has needed it. We prefer it slightly to acetaminophen, as it seems to work better. We are VERY careful to to check the dosage every time. We have a handy chart from our pediatrician that lists the correct dosage by baby's weight that we keep on the fridge. Parents, please note that the dosage is very different depending on the brand and formulation - so always double check especially when you're tired and you have crying baby. Another note: like other Amazon products, beware of price fluctuations. I purchased this as an 'add on item' on May 28, 2017 for $2.83 and now the price is 2x that. ... show more

    • Works better and is safer than Tylenol!
I was a Avid Tylenol user till I came across a article saying that Tylenol can have adverse reactions on developing brains. Im not crazy, I dont believe everything I read on the internet. But it was enough to make me reconsider. So I tried this Motrin! It woks faster, Last longer and seems to work better! My son don't like the taste as much as he liked the grape Tylenol. But he will have to deal with the taste for a safer longer lasting pain relief! 10/10 100% Recommend to anyone who has a baby teething or a child with a fever. Tylenol work for 4-6 hours this works from 6-8 hours! Meaning less fussiness, And better rest. ... show more

    • Must have for teething
My son is getting all molars in right now it is horrible! We were using Tylenol prior however we found the Motrin works faster, longer, and helps him much more he will go play, actually eat, and nap. Where as on Tylenol he was still acting in pain wouldn't eat struggled to sleep. Motrin is really a must have for teething, we ordered 3 boxes. Flavor is yummy smelling and our son actually enjoys taking the medication and feels better within minutes of taking a dose. We do every 8 hours if needed. I really like Motrin so much! ... show more

I tried it and don't like the flavor, but my 2 year old will happily drink it. Big improvement over having to sit on her and force medicine into her mouth. 10-15 minutes and we see a notifies difference in teething pain attitude.

When your kid is sick, or teething, or otherwise not right, sometimes this is just the best way to help them feel better. My kid loves the taste, so no hassle to get him to take his medicine. Simple measuring. I love that this lasts longer than Acetaminophen (Tylenol). When you really need to give your kid relief, I was told by the pediatrician that this Motrin and the acetaminophen can be staggered to provide continuous relief. As a mother to a teething toddler, I can't thank the makers of Children's Motrin enough! It's definitely my go-to medicine when my son in pain from teething. I can usually see a difference in my son's demeanor within about thirty minutes of taking Motrin; and the relief lasts several hours. When he is sick we give him Motrin before bedtime, then Tylenol if he wakes up in the middle of the night.
