Second time purchase. I bought this again because the first one lasted a long time and stayed pretty clean. It does not have that strong plastic smell like some others do. Simple and worth the money for sure.

Update: I received the other two. Near as I can tell they are the same but a bit different in color. The heavy duty is very clear and the 8G is a bit foggy looking yet still technically clear. I think this was hard to discern from the descriptions. Both are much thicker than the 3G. I am keeping one. It has a very mild vinegar smell, they suggest you wash to remove it but I think it will just go away on it's own it it so mild. I did not note any corn starch. The weights along the bottom seem quite substantial. I am upgrading my rating to four stars. I think they could be more clear as to the difference in the two, I had to order both and now have to return one so that is frustrating and could be easily remedied by the company so I am deducting one star. I purchased the 3G clear. I was aware there was also an 8G and a heavy duty, opted to try the 3G first. It is THIN. I cannot imagine this would last even a few months without tearing. And it is so lightweight I think it would move in the shower, the weights at the bottom are not very substantial. The heavy duty is 8G, so not really clear on the difference, but I am ordering one of each. I'll see how those go, hoping I keep one as generally these seem to get good reviews. I think this 3G is definitely low price, just be aware it is the thinnest shower curtain I have ever encountered in my life and I would recommend you move up to the 8G. I'll post a review of those when I receive them. ... show more

honestly lasts pretty long for the price. it does get soap scum and turns orange after about 6-7 months, so I just buy a new one every time.

    • Disappointed with the lightest thickness one. Three magnets are not enough.
I got the lightest 3G one and was very disappointed. The rising hot air pulls it considerably toward the center of the tub and 3 magnets are worthless to hold it back. Perhaps the thicker ones will work with just 3 magnets plus their own weight to keep it down, but definitely not the 3G.
