I use a lot of constant lights in my photo studio from Nanlite, Aputure, Amaran, and others. I purchased this for my home streaming studio and it's great. Certainly more powerful than I need in my little room. It is BRIGHT. The plastic body feels a bit less premium than my larger lights, but the price tradeoff is worth it. This works great as a fill or bounce light for portraits as well. Wish it had battery capability, but that's not a problem since this lives in a powered studio.

My 300d broke on a set, and while I was waiting on aputure service center to fix it(and they did extremely good job) I decided to buy this light while I was waiting on my 300, it is really good, I was afraid that it gonna be fragile because it mainly plastic, but it actually become my second light in stead of 120 d when my 300got back. One thing power cord is short use it with extension cord only

This light is nutso good for the money! I’ve used and owned Arri, Keno and more lights over the years (was a gaffer in LA) and this blows my mind for ~$250 or what ever it is. If you don’t own one, you should.

I’m a videographer, I own a few different light from Godox to Apature lights. The Amaran is just as bright as my $700+ aperture lights and just kills my Godox. I bought one plan to buy 2-3 more. Plus the app and lighting effects are crazy

one of my lights broke after 3 years of light use. The other one still works fine. reached out to support but no answer yet. I really do like the lights but it is expensive to have to purchase one every few years. Light was used maybe 4 hours per day 2-3 days per week.
