I love this top - we now use the kennel as a side table as well. The only reason I did not have it four stars is I wish the fabric went around all three sides. I ended up using fabric from another cover to adhere to all three sides, but would have preferred for it to all be the same material.

I was worried that as this is particle board, it would look cheap and flimsy. I was WRONG! It is ever so slightly larger than the dog crate so it looks really nice. The curtain that came with it is made of heavy fabric with a little fringe on the end. I didn’t use the Velcro fasteners for the top as it is heavy enough that with a little bit of nonslip shelf liner at the corners, it stays in place. ... show more

Wood is sturdy and of good quality. 3M strips are larger and hold in place with no issues. Curtain is also good quality, does not look cheap. Overall very pleased with purchase, fits perfectly with my living room decor.

Even though this doesn't have a lip, it's not needed. I have a cloth crate cover to make my dog feel secure, but the top was caving in on the crate because of the weight of my dog's food and treats. These are just as described. I ordered two for both my dog crates and they were packaged very well so as not to break them during shipping. There were plastic pieces on all four corners of the outside shipping box which made sure the corners didn't get busted. They are sturdy and the perfect fit for my small crates. I didn't install the fabric pieces as I use a cover I purchased on Amazon to cover their crates at night. The topper will allow me to keep stuff on top of the crate. Great price also. ... show more
