At first I bought a much thicker gauge wire its square holes were only 2 inches galvanized steel (cost three times more) it was quite heavy and thick (a lot to handle in my opinion) So I thought I'd try this and Im happy I went with this one. I was able to place it against my balcony very easy to unroll along the balcony and use ties to secure. It is to protect my kitty from slipping out (we are on the third story apartment) Not only is it easy to unroll along the balcony to be tied here and there it isn't too thick and the diamond shaped galvanized netting spaces are large enough for my cat to enjoy the view from the balcony. It's not too stiff but seems sturdy enough that it doesn't flinch when it's windy (I think if I flush it against balcony snug enough with ties it helps to prevent this) It's also prettier than I expected and barely noticeable so we (my kitty and I) can still enjoy the beautiful view from our balcony :) very important to me.

Pain to find the wire keeping it in a roll. Maybe highlight the end of the wire or fold it back at the end.

This 3' X 50' fencing did a great job for me. I chose this product because other products didn't have good reviews. The wire mesh was rolled in such a way as to make it easy to unroll and use. It was bound with wire that contained it sufficiently, and yet was easy to remove to use the mesh. I purchased this to protect my garden. We have a wildlife mesh to keep deer and the chickens out, but it really wasn't sturdy enough to keep smaller wildlife out. A groundhog kept getting in and that would leave a hole that our flock of chickens would use to then access the garden and destroy our crop. Once I put this hexagonal mesh up, the groundhog quit getting in and as a result, no more hens in the garden. The product exceeded my expectations. I attached it to our t-post with 8" zip ties. I did fold the ends of the wire over about 4" to insure a secure attachment to the posts. The wire didn't come untwisted, but remained secure. I bought 4 rolls. It was a good purchase. If I need more, I will buy this specific product from the same seller. I did not receive any compensation for this review. I always try to give honest and helpful reviews because it helps the consumer make good decisions in a fair market.

I put this in the Q&A section above, but I'm also posting it here because it's important. Note that the description for this product (asin=B01CDUJQIQ) has radically changed. When I ordered the product on January 1, 2017, this was the description: 36 Inch 150 Foot Mesh 1/2 Inch Hardware Cloth 23 gauge Galvanized Fence Wire Poultry Netting. The price was $52.09 USD. Product I received was good quality and shipped promptly. The roll I received on January 10, 2017 did indeed have 1/2-inch holes and was 150-feet long as (then) advertised. It would appear that the product now has 2-inch holes and is only 50-feet long, going by the pictures and the label now on the product. So, take note of this and don't reorder from your fulfilled orders page, as the product number is the same but the product is positively not. My rating is for the original product ordered and not for the product currently described.

I used this poultry wire to make a large chicken run. I ran out towards the end so I improvised and used some old chicken wire I had. The product is light silver colored and thin.It is light material. It is good to keep chickens in by day but I wouldn't leave them out at night in it. The chickens can fit their heads through the holes. The chicken house isn't the prettiest but it is safe and gives our chickens room to walk around when we can't watch them. Hawks won't be able to hurt them. It is thinner and the holes are larger than I anticipated but I would order it again since it's a good price. The customer service for this company is great. They really care about the customer.
