This pillow provided a wonderful insert for my 18 by 18 pillow cover. It is very plush and has a firm foam makeup. It took a little work to get it into my cover, which attests to its fullness. I wanted something that would give extra back support for my couch and it has done this well. I love that there are soft fleece covers that come with it, should you need to remove your pillow covers to wash the covers. I am very satisfied with the quality of the foam inserts! These are the pillow inserts you want if you’re looking for firm back support instead feather pillows that eventually go flat. These are actually plump and hold their form perfectly while providing excellent lumbar support. A few tips and tricks when you receive your pillow inserts: 1. Allow the pillows to unfurl and expand for 48 hours. They will look a little deformed right out of the package but be patient! They will expand to the perfect shape after two days. Trust the process! 2. Each pillow insert comes with a super soft washable protective cover. Put this cover on your pillow as soon as you take it out of the packaging. That way it will expand with the cover on and fill it out automatically. If you try to put the cover on after it’s fully expanded, you’re in for a wrestling match. 3. Wait until your pillows are mostly (but not fully) expanded before putting them into your decorative pillow cover. I put my covers on after 24 hours and then they filled the decorative cover perfectly over the next 24 hours. ... show more

I LOVE these pillow fillers. The memory foam was a surprise but I’m so glad they are. They come with their own pillow covers, kind of egg shell color, that is super soft so you can just remove cover and wash whenever needed!
