This is an essential piece of kit as far as I’m concerned. If you want to use the BMPCC6K or BMPCC4K for professional use a V-Mount battery is essential and this cable allows you to use one. Got this for my BMPCC4K to keep using my V-mount batteries. This cord is well constructed and will be ordering at least 2 more soon in case I loose it. I would recommend this to anyone with a BMPCC4K and keep your camera running on v-mounts instead of the canon batteries.

I've had this product since January and use it weekly. I was out shooting today and suddenly the camera shut off. Thought maybe the battery I had was dead but it showed full. Put in a canon battery and the camera came on no issues. I can only assume the cable just gave out? Makes no sense but that's what trouble shooting led me to. Sucks. ... show more

This connector does delivery power to a BMPCC camera, but it is so incredibly loose it feels like it is going to pop off at any moment. If they made a snugly fitting cable I’d give them 5 stars, but this is so lose I give it a 60% chance of coming off someday, so they lose 60% of the stars. 2 stars.     • Bought three all of them shorted out.

I bought one of these cables to go with my BMPCC4K. My set up was a gold mount battery connected to a tilta gold mount plate. After about 4 months the cable shorted out. I thought it was user error from possibly tugging the cable. Bought another. I made sure not to tug on it and always bongo tied the cable to release tension. It shorted out within 2 months of use. I'm on my third cable now and expect it to do the same. I went ahead and bought a backup from another company. Do not buy these. They are unreliable and have messed up two of my productions as well as wasted money for my business. ... show more

The only reason I won't give it a five star is that the connect to the v-mount battery randomly loosens up and shuts off my BMPCC 4K. Wish it had a tighter/snugger fit to the battery. Connects tight to the actual camera body though.

For a $33 cable, you would think it would last more than 3 months. I bought 2 of these and both failed on a production. One cable simply does not power the camera any longer, the other broke from the connector. The cables feel generally high quality but they no longer work after 3 months of general use. I always break down my gear so the cables don't get turned or jammed into awkward positions. ... show more

Terrible product. Shorted out during a shoot and ruined the footage. Iv owned three of these cables thinking they were user errors when they shorted. After the third cable, I came to the conclusion that the cables were unreliable and a waste of money.
