Starter worked great until it broke. The pieces are made of cheap metal.

    • Buy a stronger pull rope.
This seemed to be the perfect solution but the rope has broken numerous times in 24 hours. We will be buying a seperate stronger rope or wire to use it effectively.

I purchased this to add to my 80cc motorized scooter build and I actually got it as a replacement for the first pull start that snapped on third pull which was from the JCSJCAS store here on Amazon and in the picture, other than the decal on the face, they would seem to be identical but it is very important to note that the build quality on this one is far superior. The metal feels much thicker and more finished. Also, there is a grommet where the cord feeds through and as opposed to the plastic crap on the others this one is polished brass and won't eat the cord down until its thin enough to snap. The cord feels thick enough handle hard pulls and the handle feels comfortable in my hand. Overall a great part and I highly recommend it over the similarly priced competition. ... show more
