I was going to buy this from Best Buy but ordered online at Amazon. With free Prime why not get it delivered for free! About this WIFI frame, it’s so convenient to be able to send photos or even short videos right from my iPhone via Aluratek Smart Frame app. Binding my phone to the frame was so easy. But I forgot where I put my wireless password so make sure you know before setting up the frame. Also makes sure you have a stable WIFI connection. I don’t use Facebook and other social media to push photos but those options are certainly there. I also like the fact my pictures aren’t being stored on the cloud for security reasons. Excellent clear resolution for 8” screen size and the best of all it is touchscreen. I’m keeping this one at my work desk and I also connected my sister to this frame so when she’s traveling with her kids, she can wirelessly send pictures of kids and adventures me. I’m thinking of buying couple more, larger size Aluratek WIFI frames to give to my parents. Then have all my siblings bound to the frame to send pictures of all the kids for grandma and grandpa to enjoy. I don’t get the negative reviews, I’m sure some people have difficulties setting up WIFI devices but this is a winner. The APP is so simple and stable to use, just follow the instructions.

Instead of our photos being stored in albums or boxes, we get to see them on random rotation every day (this sits on our kitchen island). We get to remember that 1990-ish Christmas morn' when our little kiddos were so delighted with what was under the tree, that day we hiked the Cinque Terre, the life and times of our extended families, and that of childhood, high school, and college friends over so many (yikes!) years. We had an Aluratek digital photo frame from about 2006 that scrolled our digital photos until just this week when it finally just stopped working. With such an impressive life of this product, we went straight back to this brand. The new frame is amazing! Wifi, superb picture quality (color and clarity really pop), easy to load up, a timer so it doesn't run when we are asleep. You can connect Facebook and Twitter, your phone and your laptop and push photos right to it. If you are looking for quality and all the amenities you could ever need in such an item -- go with Aluratek. You won't regret it. Seller delivered on time and with no damage to box or product. Would recommend them any time.

Can't get it to work. You can't create an account using the Android app because the app doesn't display the captcha image needed for verification. I created an account on their website but when I go back to the app it replies with 'invalid username/password'. I went back to the website, using the same username/password combination and can log in just fine. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still won't let me log in. I did some research and other users are having the same problem. Without the app, you have to load photos via a usb cable. Then why waste the money on a wifi frame if it doesn't work? I sent an email to support who says they have 24 hour reply time. No response after 2 days. I went to the website online chat window......and it shows 'offline, leave a message' Don't waste your money.....returned product after 2 days.

I wanted a WiFi digital picture frame to display tons of photos in my phone and computer. I did a little research, and I found the Aluratek ADMPF208F 8-inch Hi-Res WIFI Digital Photo Frame. So I purchased it and love it. It's easy to set up and use. You can download an app to send your phone directly, or share photos your Facebook and twitter accounts directly to the frame. Also, you can use USB drive or SD Card for playing your photos, videos, and music. The frame displays every photo correctly, automatically arranging it so it fits the screen. The quality of display is pretty beautiful. I run the slide show, and the frame has several effects when changing pictures, such as a zoom out old picture, zoom in new, and a fade out old picture, slide in new picture. The day, date, and current time show nicely on the top of the frame, and the frame turns off at the designated time, and back on at the designated time. And also the frame has alarm function. I am completely satisfied and actually pleased with the functionality of this frame. If you have a ton of pictures that you would like to transfer from your iPhone, iPad, Facebook, twitter and the cloud to a digital frame that will display them properly, then this frame is for you!

I purchased this WiFi frame for my mother-in-law for Mother’s Day so that I could send new pictures of my baby, her grandson, to her frame through the app. I am happy with the WiFi function and the ability to send pictures. I have this same brand of frame, but it is 15” rather than 8”. The two frames are similar in most ways, but the 8” frame does not auto rotate when switched from standing horizontal to vertical, like the 15” does, and it would be much better if it had that ability. You can rotate them manually with a button on the frame. Also, there is a spot on the back so that you can hang this frame on the wall, which is great, but you can only hang it horizontally and not vertically. All in all it is a pretty good buy. This is the first and only digital frame brand I have purchased, so I do not know how it is compared to others.

The instructions are reasonably OK to set up assuming one reads them very carefully. The app worked for awhile started refusing the user name/password. I finally gave up and have resorted to loading everything up through email. Tedious, but at least it works. Very nice response from tech support...except the response didn't address the issue. Very frustrating. Pictures OK.
